Hah! Just like last year for me: 1st game in D.III is a TV road game, at PCI! Maybe they just thought you got off easy last season? ;)

Honestly though that does suck. At least you get to play at home again I suppose? I was glad to see my first game isn't on TV this year. If you win it's great, but if you lose it drags your attendance down for 3-4 home games until you get another shot at a TV game.

Crank Dat Soulja Boy - Pretty decent starters, but I see some roster balance issues. Certainly capable of winning some games, but I don't think they have the depth to be in every game.

Didn't make it this far by being stupid, so I got myself a good player with my promotion money at estimated price of 250k to 400k for 136k and his name is "Held Her Gigante", lol. I look forward to this season this is gonna be a challenge for sure

Oh they do, this is a very competitive D III. I have friends that are in other D III's and had bot teams this past season.

Did a bit of research, looked at 4 random divisions including this in the div3 and the average world ranking was 6724. The Big 8 average rank is 5198 and the Great 8 is 6336, which makes III. 4 average rank 5767. I basically was inactive and had only bots in my 1st year at div V and went undefeated, moved to below average div IV with half the teams good as div V, now I'm in above average div III so I guess its meant for me to be fair

If by "lucky" you meant scored the #3 pick before relegating after spending $30k each week since the All-Star break, then yeah. I've never scored as big on the draft ever since I drafted Lowell Webber and Clinton Cantrell for the Season 5 draft. This will be each of those guys 10th season as starters. My how time flies.

After this draft, I'm not investing any more money in scouting unless I end up in D.II some time in the near future.

Yeah I was majorly bummed on missing out on the guys ozanp and goats snatched up, but like you said even though my pick didn't fit into my training at least he will bring in some money. Plus I couldn't have tanked my way into what I wanted without running into a relegation match with you, and in the end it was more important to secure another season here in D.III. There's no way to buy a spot in D.III on the TL.

I miss the D.V draft experience though, when there were only 2-3 active teams plus a bunch of bots, and the active people didn't appear to be ranking draft lists anyway.
