RNG then is the worse offense in the game for offensive rebounds according to Coach Parrot matchup ratings, followed by Motion. Run and gun is all about the guards rushing down the court and jacking up a shot before your big men can get in position to rebound. You still might get some offensive rebounds if your big men are really good at it, but you'd get significantly more in any other offense. Princeton would be a better choice, especially if your big men have a decent jump shot.
Ah, interesting I knew that in a real RNG caused fewer offensive boards but I didn't realize that the game engine accounted for it. Looking back now it makes sense in a couple of the games that I've used RNG. On a semi-related note, I;m playing a team that always uses FCP next week and was planning on using Motion (my outside scorers should still be better equipped to score than my big guys) but now I think I'll run a Princeton to get a little inside scoring but a lot of offensive rebounding.
