Sorry to rain on this parade, but this suggestion won't change anything.
At the moment you can buy the player for 1 million and not pay salary.
If it changes so you have to pay salary straight up, this just means that the transfer price will be lower.
So you can now buy the player for 700k and pay 300k salary and it will cost the same as now.

but he will sell him for only 700k and be in minus for 300k + 20% of transfer fee. right now he buys for 1mil, then sell for 1 mil or more and he can be in plus becuse he is not paying salary.

so your answer is so wrong.

hmm good point.
Although it depends on the following scenario:
If I buy a 300k player on Sunday afternoon, I would pay 1 weeks salary. Would I then have to pay the weeks salary on the Monday as well?

as I said beore it is something like SIGNING ON FEE, a money that player gets just for joining the club.

and, like someone said, you can pay him a SEVERENCE FEE when he leaves club, just like stuff.

each one of this suggestions would make game more fair, than it is today.

I'd rather see players have a contract than signing and severance fees.
Perhaps any player bought cannot be sold or fired within 4 weeks.

but in combination with those monster such a contract could be killing for new teams, when the sums to buy them get back to sums you could afford with your starting money. One salary you could survive, even when it throw you back, four of them are a bit much in my eyes.

Those monsters kill new teams under the current rules too.

Okay simple solution, just make it so the player cannot be sold within 4 weeks, but can be fired.

and in four weeks we will lose all of 300k players in BB, because all of them will be fired on sunday. that is not good solution.

Most of these 300k players are on national teams, and so when they are fired they will come back on to the transfer market as free agents. So we won't lose them all.

ok, maybe not all, but great deal of them. and what about week when all national rosters have 0 players, because coaches are checking all of potential national team players? then we will lose ALL of them.
