I like the idea. this definetly changed my mind on that big PF i was gonna buy. with my conference champion most likely getting promoted i wont need as good of an inside defense to beat him during the playoffs. I'm pretty good at keeping my game shape at strong-proficient but I've never messed around with enthusiasm. That's something I'll do next season.

i wouldent be so quick to not make your team better. Maby a couple of ok teams from D. IV might get relegated to your league and the more tournament games you win the more money you have. I would say the easiest way to make money in this game in to go deep in the USA tournament. There is a thousand ways to play this game and not one way has been proven to work all the time. Figure out the way you think is best and stick to it.

Enthusiasm management is definitely the way to go. One thing you might want to try in your situation is to play Take it Easy every game next season (except maybe in the Tournament) so you can experience the joys of playing with high enthusiasm.

Winning games in the tournament is good income early on, but he is in d.V. Chances are he will run into a better team sooner than later. The main focus shouldn't be to win cup games for money. It should be to win his division, and preferably HCA throughout the playoffs. If he can swing both in the first couple rounds, more power to him. But use the cup for enthusiasm boost by TIE at the first sign of a difficult cup match.

i had a difficult cup match and blew out my opponet. i then got spanked by a team using TIE in the next match. my goal is to win as many cup games as i can. ill use TIE on my opponets who signed up, but never even play the game. that way i will have good enthusiasm for cup games and difficult opponents.

hopefully i'll get a few rounds of bot teams in the cup as well.

Let's say he wins four cup games thats 200,000 dollars. Plus what he makes a week. In D.V he can just TIE games against lesser opponents in his league and roll over the top half of his league. He will prolly go 22-0 no problem and have the money to show for it. I would do that as opposed to destroying his roster to save money.

You're assuming that he can beat all the teams he meets in the first four games. It's possible, but not a sure thing. He might meet an NBBA team in his first cup match. Though a good moneymaker the longer you play, the cup is too unreliable to count on for long, especially for a V team.

I can understand where your comming from. I mean he might get unlucky but the odds are in his favor I think. Like I said earlier he can do what he thinks is right. Im just giving my opinion as well.
