You are right! 2-3 zone does have a use! If your starters have played too many minutes in the first game then you can run a 2-3 zone and in the second half after the game has turned into a blowout instead of a close match if you had played man to man they can sit on the bench and rest.

isn't a win with a blowout better then a close match? While is it then impossible to beat a slightly better opponent, through the advantegeous tactical choiche?

I remember being interested in it and especially as I had read a book about it only about a year before I went. However at the time it was VERY difficult to get to. Ranked #93 of things to do in Iran by Lonely Planet travellers so it must be possible now. However this was part of the current getting there description:

However, the castle of Alamut, one of the most famous of all, is nowaday more or less accessible by 4wd in dry weather, if one can find a guide or driver in Qazvin willing and able to take you there.

Even getting to Qazvin wasn't so easy back when I visited.

I think you misunderstand. My scenario assumes you 100% know your opponent will play look inside. Then there is no correct tactical choice except for man to man. But if you know you will lose anyway because they have a much better team than you, then you can manage your minutes by playing a 2-3 zone instead of man to man turning a 20 point loss into a 50 point loss and ensuring your starters only play about 25 minutes - great for game shape management. It was humour.

and far off from game mechanics, and by the way i think with a solid team you bring it from -20 to -15.

Not really sure what you mean by this comment, however I had a look at your team. You are in one of the toughest leagues in the world and have probably the best team in your nation. You are a brilliant manager and have been incredibly successful. So what is your favourite tactic? Surprise, Look inside. End of story!

which don't mean i didn't play motion from time to time, and that i think 2-3 makes everything worse(shouldn't be a surprise too). I just say that it is pretty risky to play it, when your opponent don't play like expected.

Whereas I say it is risky to play it when your opponent does play like expected. You grab a slightly hiher % of rebounds but that doesn't matter because they hit a very high % of their outside shots.

sorry but 2-3 is just the worst defense ever. even when you do play 2-3 to a LI, you give up some much OD allowing them just shoot over you and still score inside since his PG will have little OD on him so he can get easy assist buckets all day long.
