the diffrence between the REAL monster and the baby monster might look a lot on paper, but on the field, there will not be THAT much diffrence between their performances. Gameshape will be much more important at that high level.
But in any case, if I ever find a rookie MVP or up potential, I'll try to pick him up, and when Sammy has reached his cap, the rookie will have skilled a lot already, and I'll just need to shape him here and there, and then focus on that player from then on...
