what would be the best tactic against 2 3 zone ? =P

Any tactic.

lol.
i'd much rather face a 2-3 zone than anything else when playing look inside. random examples, since i can't remember better ones: (32851464) & (32851429)

but even with mediocre (5) outside scoring & only strong (8) inside scoring, 2-3 zone still is awful... & that's with the other team using more effort the 2nd game. also it should be noted that both teams' starting centers were making almost twice as much money as mine was!

I don't see how those playing anything other defense against you would have reduced the loss of your opponents.

I shouldn't be able to score that much vs. 2-3 zone with only strong (8) inside shot & very low outside scoring. 2-3 zone should make the game closer, but it does the opposite... it increases my shooting % and i score more points than normal. it doesn't have the same effect that 3-2 zone has against outside offense.

(36157921) against the same team. again, i'm on the road & have 1 full level lower inside scoring than the other team. yet my PF was 10-15 & my SG was 8-10! I scored 110 pointson over 50% shooting. I only average 87 points per game...

Even the first game, my guards shot about 50% & my SG made 3 of 5 3pters. keep in mind that my starting SG shot 27% for the entire season (only 13% for 3s). & the game vs. the Death Star i scored 109 points vs. more effort..

Somehow things can go two ways, like in this match: (36539955).

But the away team (Damientor) was winning with 2 minutes left! So it was a very close game. Also, remember Telok had home court advantage, shot 22 more free throws, 15 more rebounds, higher offensive flow & outside defense.

Not forfeiting. Beyond that, just don't do anything stupid and you should be in good shape.

So what about this match? (16698) My head just exploded. Centers and Power forwards on PG, SG and SF spots...PGs on PF spots...and win against Spain...what what what?? I guess BC Hostivac is really one of the greatest minds in this game.

It's just that multi-skilled players will destroy you! How many Hana's are in the game today? Will your PF produce proficient OF playing at PG in attack? I don't think so (It's more a figurative "you" than actual you).

And yeah, that 2-3 dominated Spain with 9+ RBs.

Any tactic.
Are you trying to say you can play any tactic against any opponent, with any players and any set of skills they have, who plays 2-3 zone? I think that's far from the truth.

You are nicely skewing my words.

I replied to OP who's team is in the range of his opponents'.

If you take two equal and balanced teams and one plays 2-3, the other can play literally whatever it likes and the team with 2-3 defense will lose 9/10 times.

Interesting statement but that 1/10 is still no good for me. How to chose a tactic that wins 10/10 against 2-3 zone between two equal teams (same skills, same enthusiasm level, neutral ground .... and exclude the randomness such as foul trouble and injuries). In your experience, what is the most effective tactic against 2-3 zone?
