The fact of the matter is this is a manager game not a coach game.

At levels like B3, it's a money game =P

Have you set "Let the coach decide?"

Yeap. Blank & "Let coach decide" Just think this takes away from the game & gives advantage to someone who knows this against someone who doesn't.

How so? The sub pattern is so frequent that it allows, I think, max output for the players you have.

I have used it MANY times for NT games but never use it for league or cup. I did do it twice in PL games. In my league games I am always watching minutes and trying to get training done. In NT games I don't care about minutes or training so the blank lineup loses its two worst problems. Having said it, in almost every case the coach used the same lineup that I would have done usually if there was variation it was where it was a line ball call anyway (best PG has worse GS than second best PG so who gets the nod?) or it was some minor minutes allocated to bench players. Watching the game on the viewer you do see some VERY odd things from time to time but the overall picture seems to be very good.

I can't see the problem with it. It is just another option. It has its advantages and disadvantages like any other system.

The only thing that stands out, & this maybe a lack of understanding on my part, was the use of Subs in the game. The allocation of minutes & how that boosted the Box Scores for the game.
When you have used it, you see the same thing? I may have jumped to concusions on this, but when I see the Box Score jump between me setting the lineup & then the game doing it, I thought there was advantage to be had.

Good question. I'll let you know, unless someone else already has the answer.

when you look at the beginner setting for lineup you see a bit that it is needed, also it don't get an automated game since i think you need "a special" roster where many player can play on SF effective cause like someone already noted the selection there isn't optional and tend to lineup bigs there.

In important matches i choose to use the option and especially in the BBB where minutes doesn't matter, since i think it utilize my deep bench best since it replaced players nearly everytime it can - which should be also the explanation of your noticed improves of the game rating.

So if I was to put in a lineup & select "Let Coach decided" I would get roughly the same rotation? I don't think I do, nor do I get the same type of Box Scores.
