Well if you are talking about Harrison Jolly he is a 3k 19 year old who looks like he hasn't been trained the whole season and is in inept GS so he will in effect be a 3k 20 year old with Hall of Fame potential that may as well be 6th man seeing as how badly he has been looked after.

I thought I should post here or Rad will have an aneurism.

bainsynator88 you started the same season as me, wow, good thing I read the manual in the first week. Something about the game just got me excited right away.

Love the tipping idea guys and yes, you will do well. especially as you are picking the matches!

My trainees have sucked this season. Had level 5 and level 6 trainers on them.

Barton 24k 22yo 6'4" superstar PG 7 pops.
Kumar 9.5k 20yo 6'2" superstar SG 8 pops.
Rene 3.5k 18yo 6'3" MVP SG 7 pops.

Considering I have had four weeks of one on one, one of jump shot, two of outside shooting and three of pressure I would have expected more. Typically doing one one one you get a pop a week, that means Rene and Barton have had just three pops in the other six weeks, maybe ok for Barton but bad for Rene.

I agree, Master Yoda, but he should have started training Jolly last season when he was 18...obviously. It turns out I did send him a quick email last season to which he never responded. This time he has. While he's not going to be the great player he could have been, if judd05 trains him he can still be a good player. Even better, which I suggested to judd05, wa to sell him and maybe some newby will pay a ridiculous price. Either way, he would still sell for a good price now.

@ Skyhookz, he's not my first metoree actually. Technically I and another American team really helped an English team get up and running with a lot of support and info. Now her team is doing well (promoted last season). But while Master Yoda has poked his head in and will likely return I should tip my hat in his direction as my unofficial mentor together with Robhoe. Good Aussie support.

err.. i mean.. he has done great job! We are building :D Thx to his help, i have a couple of decent trainees, and will make about 1.5m profit this seaosn :D not a bad season at all.... (just didnt win any games lol)

good to see.. i tried mentoring a guy from another league 4, but found i was more keen than he was... by mentoring, i mean just forwarding all the PM's yoda has sent me :D

With that cheapass roster, a dedication to training and a $1.5 million profit for the season being safely in 5th and one game out of the playoffs is nothing short of brilliant! Great work, I wish my trainees were doing as well as yours.

I'm feeling lucky...Iwen?

Actually, lucky is far from the truth. Just had a car (driven by an 80 yr old blind man) ram my $40k Toyota Prado! Not happy jan! Anyway, maybe i'll get a ball sympathy vote...lol

And yeah, Skyhookz, by mentoring I also meant forwarding on Yoda's advice! But your right, if the mentoree isn't as keen as the mentor then it doesn't work.

Actually I've never done full time mentoring.

I've always been happy to have my say and leave bits n pieces of advice, but most of the time it's just a gentle push in the right direction.

Though I am crazy about training though, so much so that I will rant if somebody wants to buy success.. over training for success.
