I seriously don't get how I won that game. Sure, he played 6 scrubs, but my team isn't that much better, he had HCA and played normal vs my TIE.

Easy...he took it too easy by playing crap players. I have no pity for him [Bryce]. I don't know the bloke personally although I know well who he is and how impressive his reign in the ABBL has been but with a team name like WA IS A DUMP, as a Sandgroper and proud of it, I don't care for his kind. ;P

I lied, i'm CT'ing tonights TV league game instead and TIE'ing cup again. Was a good run while it lasted...

I kind of missed the second round of the cup but it wasn't that eventful. There were a few upsets, Vis Maior, Belmore Aces, TEAM LORDY, Vios Violationers, peaceNroll, Persepolis Immortals and Maggots lost to division III teams.

However Moosas Mad Men managed to lose to a division IV team and so get the Koopasaurus award for the round.

In the big matchups.

Western Titans threw their game against TeamAkuma.
Billy Hoyles Boys destroyed The Dons.
High School Drop-outs had a comfortable win against Corio Bay Giants.

Round Three

There were a ton of big games and at half time there were 4-5 ABBL teams in trouble. Aussie Pride, Koopasaurus, Monkey Business and Billy Hoyles Boys. But in the end only one went down.

Snuffies didn't have enough to handle Monkey Business 73 - 91
From_Way_Downtown was downtown rather than going to the arena against Chelsea Seagulls 43 - 106

Upsets

Yarra Park Bears lost to a division IV team Backseat Bandits 92 - 103
Cleveland Steamer's beat ANU Basketball 126 - 69
The Pwnage have sold their whole team so not really an upset.

Mangoloids vs. Richmond Tigers 51 - 88 bad enough for Mango Cango to lose but...

Mangoloids looked like the only team trying out there.

However they are also in full tank mode so it shouldn't count as an upset.

GC Vikings vs. Urmummas 86 - 77 was a battle of great division II teams.

Both came from my league. Both met each other in a three game final series two seasons ago with Urmummas promoting to Div II and SchaBoom's GC Vikings were forced to tough out another two season before breaking through. I'm certain SchaBoom enjoyed that win over the Urmummas.

Round Four Preview

Wow there are a lot of massive games this week. Four obvious headlines.
CROCKERS have had a great season so far but it may get worse when they travel to Whitebeard.
Guanzheng Goldfish go to Koopasaurus not once but twice next week and Koop plans to bring in Radford. Ouch!
Billy Hoyles Boys goes to Pancakes with Jam and Cream maybe the best division II team at the moment.
Monkey Business are away at Glenelg Tigers which will be far from easy.

There are also a bunch of tight II v II games like

Melbourne Redbacks v The Winnerz
TeamAkuma v Perth Power Hustlers
GC Vikings v ACT Blaze

granted round 1 iwen had no team, and round 2 titans threw their game, but just the unluckiness of drawing 3 div 2 teams in 4 rounds..far out! the way this is going, i'm probably going to get whitebeard in round 5 if i can survive round 4 >.<

I think i have you covered especially given how crap Kynlala's team is at the minute.

C-Cat is going to take his best shot this week as well the price so i am tossing up weather to tank a league game or not.

National rankings are interesting. I've been in the finals for about 4 seasons in a row in the ABBL which is essentially the best 8 teams in the country yet i've never even graced the top 10 ranking wise. Obviously never had a cup run past the last 8 thanks to BLS & Bell Park the last couple of seasons but i'm surprised that the Cup is weighted so strongly.
