I agree about the Superteam crap that's starting... I hate it. I hated it when Miami did it, and I hate it still now - even tho' the team I support is doing it.
"Bad for the NBA"...

In agreement with all of your points.
I kind of like the super-teaming, but not so much how, more easily, franchise players can dictate where they go.
It makes for a boring regular season, but some great regular season match-ups and post-season.
I've always had the same sentiment for MLB, and only followed the sport during September and October.
I used to follow the NBA like crazy, but in recent seasons, I rather watch a couple of super-teams duke it out and tune-in around postseason time. That coupled with time.

hate it,......i don't like super teaming, the Thunder didn't do it on purpose, but Heat and Lakers did.......now there are only like what? 5,6 teams hogging up all the stars......Thunder (not really cause of drafts) Spurs (not really), Lakers (yeah), Heat (yeah), Celtics (not really), and thats it........

then there are the teams that make do with what they got, Clippers, Nuggets, Knicks, Bucks, Bulls, Grizzlies, Suns (pre-Nash moving to LA) Mavs, Blazers, Hawks (for real) Magic (pre-Dwight moving) Pacers, 76ers, Jazz..........

Then there are teams that have trash........Rockets (now that they've destroyed their team with Lincashity and Asik BS) Magic (yup), Wizards (rising), NOLA (rising with Davis in there) TWolves (rising) Warriors, Kings, Raptors (rising), etc.

well yall see what I mean, I don't like it......I'm glad LA gonna be going down once Nash retires after his contract and then Kobe in 4 years........Then they'd be trying to do their Free Agent BS again......stealing people like nothing. I think Magic/Rockets will get the top 2 picks in the draft. then It's a Heat-Thunder re-match (i still think Thunder better than LA) and let's see from there...........

That is just some complete BS. That, and along with the teams that "make do with what they got" do so because they cannot create a super team.

I can guaran-effin'-tee you that if the Thunder could find a way to add... say, Dirk Nowitzki - they absolutely would. Teams do whatever they can, and whatever their resources allow, to get better.

now there are only like what? 5,6 teams hogging up all the stars......Thunder (not really cause of drafts) Spurs (not really), Lakers (yeah), Heat (yeah), Celtics (not really), and thats it........

Err... the Thunder CHOSE to suck so they could get their stars. The Spurs lucked into getting Tim Duncan (playing alongside David Robinson) off an Admiral injury. The Celtics were the ones who STARTED this all, with obtaining KG & Allen in the first place.
Some interesting logic there.

Not sure how you throw that out with such blithe abandon. OKC barely managed to get their win over LA last season, and LA add Dwight/Nash. Sure, it may end up that way... but as currently rostered (and admittedly 'on paper'), LA are the best team out West.

sometimes I have a gruelling hate for the lakers, and at times I hate the Thunder too forBenett literally raping seattle of a team. But if I were to choose the 1 to make it, Thunder all the way, I don't like Lakers but I don't hatem. and I SURELY don't like em after that Howard deal.........

and again everyone is right the place Howard certainly not wanted to go to is Houston, but hey with their Asik BS and Lincashity trust me, Rockets will be competing for a 1st overall pick next season.......I say they got the 2nd Pick...

Was super teaming better in the 80's when the Lakers and Celtics managed it in a more organic manner?
