I routinely buy 1k players, probably every other week or 2/3 weeks to manage game shape.

Another strategy is to buy someone even cheaper than 1k, say 800 or 900 bucks and just keep them as a waterboy/team mascot/elderly citizen for your team. If they are 33+ years old, they will further decline and become even cheaper the next season.

A1R, I'm sure they both know what sarcasm is, but I'm glad you looked it up for yourself just to be sure. How about you run along now and look up the word "meaningless" -- that sums up your posts in this thread up to this point.

If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.

I also buy cheap players to manage GS but I sold them all to take advantage of the no salary floor.

I don't be taking English lessons from someone over the internet.
Look up "Teacher" or "Professor"-those are the people that teach me english.

You can still manage GS by buying scrubs without paying them salary. That's the whole point. You buy 2 or 3 scrubs for 1k each (the transfer fee, not necessarily their salaries) and use them to absorb minutes in the scrimmage/cup. Then you fire them before Sunday, rinse, and repeat next week.

No, you don't be. You've bought one player in your history, and you used him in many league matches. You and Rucker must be drinking the same water down there.

Alright maybe I worded it wrong.

@rcvaz I think I'm doing a pretty good job managing GS with my 9 players right now so I am expanding my arena rather than buying players.

If you fire the players, they don't effect your salary. Therefore what we're discussing has absolutely nothing to do with the salary floor.

And sorry but your game shape isnt nearly as high as it should be. It makes a difference.

Not really, no. Good GS is 8 or 9 for all the main rotation players, but that's just me. As for expenses, I'm really talking about 3 scrubs a week, that's 3k.

I know that they don't affect salary if I fire them but 3k can cost me from building more LT or CS or a player that would actually see the court.

Last week my GS was better. The first 2 with 7 GS I overplay since they are scrubs, the 18 and 19 year olds have high stamina so the coach puts them on the floor even though I run SFDC and put them at backups,I have no explaination for the 23 year old but his GS last week was a high 8.
