That Jump Shot and Jump Range don't look very pretty. His Outside Defense is good enough, and if you train Pressure, he'll probably be the best defender ever. I don't think he's going to be a big-time PG, but he'll be worth at least something as a defender. You're going to have to train a LOT of Jump Shot/Outside Shooting and Free Throw for him to be effective offensively. I can see this guy on a team that uses "Look Inside" though, because of that nice Outside Defense and Passing. I see that you bought him for only 2k, which is a darn good deal. I say train him for a while, and if he isn't popping fast enough, resell him for a bit of profit.

So..The magic potion of finding the RIGHT trainee with a TON of potential??????? Needs to be a player at a certain appointed position to ALREADY have respectable or above in they're main areas???

A ton of potential isn't necessary. Potential only affects salary cap, not growth rate. Star potential is good enough. It's nice to have Respectable or above in main skills already, but I think Inept is my lower limit. It's not a bad thing, but it's just so troublesome to wait for a trainee to pop from a stat like Awful. Your trainee is good. Just hope he gets pops.

OK..Thx a ton. Just won my 6th game playing take it easy but it was agaist a pretty tough team...than i gave credit for. IF something happens my injured combo guard comes out of injury by thurs ZI will play him so he can have at least 48 mins. But otherwise Im running 4. After learning "Valuable Knowledge" from you I am starting to understand training....ANOTHER QUESTION???? Should i train more than 2 guys? Or keep it simple and concentrate on training 2 guys and pretty much team training stamina?

See, I thought a trainee needed to be at least Perrenial or superstar in order to gain quickly....I do know...An MVP can still pop greatly into his mid 20's as I have had a couple of guys who are still popping. One is a PF at 24 and another is my main man Miho at 26..Both are MVP's. Sorry to bug ya man. You seem to have hit my questions SPOT ON! Without insults and taunts from some of these other dickheads on here. I appreciate any info. You're probably the reason why Olmers beat me in the playoffs last season. hahahahahahahahaahahahahaha

Like I said, OHmers got advice from a buddy of mine. =)
As for training more trainees, I don't really recommend it. The only reason why I do is that I train both my PG and SG to be outside shooters. That way, I can train 4 people all at once. If you want your PG to be a normal distributor, then just train 2 trainees at SG. It's a lot more efficient to train Outside Shooting that way. If you're going to focus on Jump Shot more than Outside Shooting, go ahead and get more trainees.

OK..Maybe a dumb question but when i trai my trainees, I have to train my vets as well...correct??? I have never seen a "Do Not Train" button anywhere. Its obvious probably but worth asking since i am really just starting the training program.

Correct. If you're training Jump Shot for guards, and you have vets playing that position, they will be trained. Of course, being older, they won't pop as quickly.
