Haha! He even got some egg rolls for that win. I love beating teams with higher salary. ;)

Appreciate the recognition Bballin! And I was serious, if you have questions about BB or (Quantum Physics, Religion, Politics) make sure to PM Mod-Bballin about it... about 900 times per day. Thanks.

Division III Team of the Week!

Spitfires Dethrone Cambridge Kings!
6485 people showed up in the Sky High Arena to watch the #1 Calgary Spitfires face off against their 4th ranked Cambridge Cronic Kings. Everyone of them left disappointed as the Spitfires won 117-87(52683308). Richard Grunwald(12089498) had 17 points on 7-9 shooting, including 3-3 from behind the arc. A dominating 38-15 1st quarter set the tone for the rest of the game and the Spitfires rolled to a commanding victory.

Three Spitfires Named to the All-Star Team!
Frank Holtz,(19313538), Augusto Castellar(17866562) and Alberto Gutierrez(6911606) have all been named as all stars this season, with the latter being the only one on the bench. Holtz and Castellar are both making their second All-Star appearances, as they were both a part of the squad last season. Veteran Gutierrez is making his 6th appearance, as he has been around the block and back. All 3 look forward to representing the Spitfires proudly.

Supreme beaten by Fundamentals!
In what was supposed to be a comfortable win for Kumiko and her squad, Coach Coach and his team upset Kumikos squad 114-101(52681197). It seems it all came down to the laziness of 蝴蝶Supreme's defending, as Fundamentally Sound were allowed to shoot 43 free throws in this game! Kumiko was heard screeching at Coach Coach afterwards:
Hmmm... not too impressed about this game to say the least.

Yes, you had 2-3 zone, more effort, and HCA, but:

a) 43 free throws? 43!?!
b) my team almost doubled their avg fouls/game.
c) 2 turnovers playing run and gun?
d) 19-8 o-reb?
e) 2 injured starters for me

Next time... ;)

Kumiko gets Beanz Odyssey in a Cup game on Tuesday night!

Heong gets All-Star nod!
With the rest of 蝴蝶Supreme struggling for votes, Shen Sai Heong(15116863) was able to snag a starting spot. In his third ever allstar appearance, Heong did it to the tune of 14 points and 12 rebounds a game to help solidify Kumikos inside game.

Monster Arena!?
A new milestone was reached by 蝴蝶Supreme as they recently eclipsed 15,000 seats in their arena. A great milestone that really shows a managers dedication to the team. Only 4738 other teams around the world have achieved such greatness.

Kings Dominate World Alliance!
In Utopia 19664 showed up for the inevitable beatdown that the Kings would deliver to World Alliance. They were pleased, as the Kings were able to cruise to a 122-88 victory(52678964). Waldemar Hielscher-Uhl(8051928) led the way with 35 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists as the Kings perfect season continued.

Kings Dominate All-Star voting!
4 players named to the starting lineup and one in the three point competition demonstrates how well the Kings have been doing. Gerry Stavridis(14641174) enters his third straight, Maura Da Ros(14750087) enters his 2nd in 3 seasons, Waldemar Hielscher-Uhl(8051928) enters his 10th All-Star game and Essa Abu-Kaleel(7971517) makes 7th all star appearance and 3rd in a row. Kaleel was even chosen for the 3-point competition as the Kings domination spreads further!

Spaniard Added to Help in B3 Run!
Ignasi Fontarnau(7562676) was picked up by the Philosopher Kings for a sum of $465,000 demonstrating that RiP is serious in his B3 ambitions. The Spaniard has been averaging 21 points and 10 rebounds in Spains first division and hopes to continue his stellar play in Canada. Fontarnau is among the top 1000 players in the world and helps solidify the depth for RiPs team as Uhl and Miranda now have a viable backup.

蝴蝶Supreme get Beaned by the Odyssey
With Kumiko being the only featured team still alive in the cup, they faced off against #2 ranked Beanz Odyssey. The result was not good. Not good at all. After falling behind 51-31 in only 2 quarters, Kumiko thought nothing could get worse. Oh, but it did. The third quarter was a statement quarter by GM-beanerz and his Odyssey as they marched on to win the third quarter by a score of 26-0, extending their lead 77-31. A scoreless quarter for 蝴蝶Supreme marked the end of Kumikos patience and she was seen storming out of the building with a whole quarter of play remaining! This seemed to spark her team as they won the fourth quarter convincingly 27-9, but still dropped the game 86-58(55483385).

Kumiko Buys Five Scrubs, Replacement Time?
With the quick purchases of 5 bench worthy players fans of 蝴蝶Supreme worry that Kumiko is out of her mind. Analysts urge fans to relax, however, as they all agree when they say, "Its just for a scrimmage." Thursday night will be the night everyone finds out, whether that is true.

Kings Run Over Pistoleroi
Another clinic was held in Utopia. This time the topic was, on how to crush a team by 59 points. This game was merciless, with the Kings putting up some outrageous scoring numbers and some physical play! With Miranda picking up 5 fouls and Da Ros fouling out, the Kings were playing not only for a W, but for blood. The win was an impressive one with everybody on the Kings contributing and showing up to perform well. The Kings now sit in second place in the B3 and will be against the #1 ranked Swedish team next week! Oh yeah the score... 134-75(55371980) for RiPs squad!
