Is it even worth it to get exceptional or world renowned trainers? Do you really get that much more training done and is it worth it for the extra signing bonus and salary you pay?

With the BB economy as it is, I can't see a L6 or 7 trainer ever making sense for a competitive team. The only people I would see using them would be tanking teams in low divisions who have snagged a once in a lifetime ATG player and don't care how many league games they lose. (or unfortunately, farms)

If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.

Hmm I see, well if I ever snag an ATG I think I will try to break the mold :)

I think however that there's enough to cross reference between 4 and 5
with almost matching amounts of training weeks at each skill
the closeness in results between advanced and superior trainers is disheartening for those who have spent to buy a 5 level

Well if it is an 8 percent increase in traing spread out among all the skills of you trainee than in 5 seasons you are looking at an extra 40% of training so it seems like it would pay off in the long run if you can find a cheap superior trainer like I did (20k salary per week). That is of purse only the case if you are training your player until they are 23+.

I'm not sure where that 8% number came from - but the results don't show that much at all
And I'm sure you didn't get a cheap superior trainer at all when you factor in the price you paid to get him

an 8% increase after 1 year is still an increase of 8% after 5 years... you can't add it up to a 40% increase

Ahh, math doesn't quite work that way.

HTG, I saw the 8% number in a training thread a few seasons ago. That was the general conclusion at that time although I can't tell you how accurate it is. But the number has always stuck in head.

This is the raw data - Bracketed are the number of entries for each
What bothers me is that level 4 and 5 offer pretty close usage and no real clear advantage
