Also....I think a better question or discussion to have is why is that Staff members salary increases 2% of every week...but their ability to peform their job stays the same?

If I buy a L4 Dr. and his salary goes from 16k a week, to 46K a week over time, he better be moving up the charts in terms of his reputation in that job. In what situation would an employer keep raising an employees pay, and yet the employees ability to perform the job stays exactly the same? STUPID!

I apologize. Im only trying to help. I think i was very clear that i wasnt speaking definitely by using phrases such as "I think" and "I thought". I didnt say "its a bug". The only reason i replied to him is because i remembered seeing somethingabout the doctors effect on injuries in the forums, but it turned out it was in the suggestion forums, which is why my understanding of the situation was wrong. I respect your opinion however i do not believe when i answered him, i was speaking definitely as you claimed i did. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

No need to apologize to me :-) You are very helpful in these forums, and I know many appreciate your input....In this thread, it read (to me) like you kind of knew something the rest of us don't know....that's all I was cautioning against...because when a guy like you that is so helpful in these forums...with your massive amount of balls, new guys will take those opinions as fact, and run with it. :-)

Absolutely. You'd be surprised at the kind of idiots that can rack up 1300... uh, nothing to see here, move along. ;)

Great point......I think the only times anybody's salary should go up in BB is during the offseason processing. Instead of 2% a week just make it 10% during the offseason. 80K level 7 trainer turns into an 88K level 7 trainer the following year.
I hate the raises every week. Last season I bought a level 7 trainer who's salary was 77K to start, now it will be 107K next week....The worst thing about BB for sure.

I'm not sure what the exact amount should be, but not having it hit every single week is good. I just don't know if pushing them all to the same time would be good for the marketplace (though, of course, the health of the coach market is a whole different discussion altogether).

I'd almost rather see a situation where the salary is frozen for 4 weeks or so, and then it bumps up 5% or so every four weeks after that. Something to not have all the staff on the same update cycle, at least.

The math on when to change staff isn't too hard, actually. Calculate the savings with a new staff you bid on per week. Then add up the cost of firing your current guy (1 week salary) and the cost of buying the new guy, and divide by the per week savings. Then you know how long it will take for you to end up saving money (payback period).

For instance, your new trainer saves you 5K per week in salary. Your old trainer cost 20K to fire, and you won the bid for 10K. So that's 30/5 = 6.

So after 6 weeks, you are going to be saving money for as long as it takes the new guy to reach the salary of the guy you got rid of. And that's probably at least one season, so you save money for several weeks at least.

I think if you do that math and what you're spending takes more than a season to pay dividends, it's too high. By the end of that season, the weekly raises have pushed a guy beyond his value anyway.

I won't overpay for staff, nor will I let guys stay so long that they are way overpaid for what they do.

Not so fast like in BB, but in real life is the same... you get a job with a salary and 20 years after your salary is x2 or more... (now here in europe we are lossing these rights), and your habilities are maybe worse... because you are older, and can“t go so fast...

But actually, if this increase of salary desapear, the staff market dies...
