Oh I believe an expanded arena now would be better to maximize promotion bonus, but I don't think it'll matter too much at this point so early on.
I think this season could get interesting, a couple teams just need one player or so to really make me sweat about promoting, but as of right now I believe I have the strongest roster. And the deepest.
I mostly just wish we all got some of that cup revenue >.>

Yeah, I hear you on the CUP thing. 50k at this level is big.

Another thing that is interesting to track (but not visible to us) is everyone's training plan. Are people training offense/defense/mixed? There are limited training sessions with so many pros/cons in which approach to take. We'll see how that play out in the PO.

i Pmed BB Marin regarding the utopia cup. he said that they accomodated the first 64 leagues only. since we are league 68 we miss the scheduling. but with the 50k we miss for every win then we are at a disadvantage versus the first 64 leagues.
winning 3 to 4 CUP games is 150 to 200k which you can use for arena build up , 2 to 3 strong trainees or a very good veteran

Yea and the stronger teams of course have a better chance at making it to the higher rounds that met more money per game.
It gives those first 64 teams a huge advantage over us.. I guess I'm hoping I can sell one of my trainees at some point and make up for the loss of the cup. Also why i went the SF training route.

Very interesting on the training note, also could depend on the age of the players purchased. If they're 19, it could drastically change the training plan. I luckily have one 18 yo so I'm going to do a hybrid training, this season IS/ID and OD, next season go guard heavy with one on one and more OD. It's tricky to try and guess another teams training plan.

it's a big pity as a balanced tournament would have been a very intriguing challenge - everybody starting at the same level, let's the best winning.

PS 1 ball at "my best player will not be sold". I would be keen on selling any of them, but I have a bunch of horrible players....

Any last minute guesses as to who'll make the allstar squad/3 point shooting contest???

If any on my roster makes it.. It'll probably be Kwok Chi Cang or Gutierrez.

i 'd say lucas westbury, but he got injured for 2 weeks, so my best bet for the all star team is kim moiroux

I was mostly checked out for the whole season. That said, I'm reasonably happy with where I ended up with finances and training.
