Very nice little example there mate. I would assume that GDP does not affect offensive ratings, do you have any evidence of this?

Did you do any more testing eg Inside offense vs GDP balanced to see if they give you the same negative effect? I saw someone in that thread mention that it may be larger negative effect if you are further away form guessing correctly?

I dont' think that the GDP influences your offensive ratings. I never saw something like this.

No, I didn't.

I only tested the biggest possible penalty: Outside slow vs. Inside fast. It's pretty hard to do some research with <10% if your ratings are between 5 and 6 You would need ratings around 10 to see if there is an other (lower) influence.

According to starting season post, is there a difference in guessing neutral-neutral and outside-slow against LI? Am i wrong?

I'm too lazy to search my old post, but two seasons ago I played a couple of games with another german manager. We had everytime the same line up and the same enthusiasm. We tried several GDPs, like corret guess in pace and focus and completely wrong guess in both.

To make it short:
Basic defense: 100%
Both right (focus+pace): 110%
Both wrong (focus+pace): 90%

I'm late to this thread again, but the 110% matches about precisely what I found as well, though mine was just based on some modified CoachParrot predictions rather than the same lineup twice. Still, when I don't have a blowout, the predictions are generally spot on, so I've been going with the 10% value myself for estimation purposes.
