While making a completely new substitution system would be great, it's unnecessary (this one works fine in most cases, therefore I prefer fixing the cases in which it doesn't) and unrealistic (given the coding resources atm, which are basically - yours truly ).

My starter with respectable stamina tonight played 47 minutes, while his backup played one minute. The cases where the substitution system doesn't work are any offense with strong or higher stamina, and probably average stamina or higher for slow offenses. And this isn't even asking for a 24-24 split, or even close, though it would be nice to have a balanced option; I'd just like to have the opportunity for my reserve SF to play 12 minutes without having to get to garbage time.

@hrudey: You're right, there's a problem with high stamina players and close games. It's not just your SF, though he's a perfect example. It's a tough one to try and fix but I'll give it a shot once the offseason madness is over.

@Yuck: Wouldn't be much of a surprise if I did

Excellent. Though if you managed to catch Yuck flatfooted, you've earned a solid vacation, so do feel free to enjoy that a little first.

I agree with you and i cant recall saying that before, but there should be a way of sharing the minutes better.

I dont know how this can be done without complicating things too much but it is wrong that minutes cant be shared better between your starters and your bench.

This has been what makes LCD with a blank line up so powerful as it shares the minutes better thus optimising the performance of all your players.

I still can't understand what is problem there. What will happen if I plan training time, what problem it can cause?

Take minute-managing as a challenge.
By the way what would happen if you set 36 mins for your starter and 12 mins for his substitution and your starter gets injured after 5 mins? What would happen if he will be fouled out? What would happen if he is getting tired because of his lvl 2 stamina?

if he will be injured or fouled out backup should get his position for all game, but about stamina, it should be decided by managers. I have kinda same skilled players for 1 position and I want them all to get equal time for example I want to play Full Court Press, or I want to create team like SAS. What should I do?
