His problem.

Duke, if you do not want to keep a good draftee and he does not sell the first time, don't fire him... you just lost valuable ~300-400k.
What if you get bankrupt???

5/5 19yo. Especially since 19yos got the boost to their skills.

I dont understand why they fired?
If a player's sale only gives me less than $10k, it's possible that I'm better off firing rather than selling, since the taxes on following transfers may cost you more than $10k. It doesn't matter what the potential is (I agree that it's unlikely for an MVP draftee to be that worthless, but it's possible).

I have fired nearly all the scrubs and low value players I've owned since they introduced the tax.

Do you list players for 1k with the hope they'll go for 1-10k?

Honestly what's the problem? With the tax it makes no sense to sell that kind of players. 3 seasons or 25 seasons this is still true. Unless of course you know how the formula works and can show us that selling 2-3 guys like that does not affect the tax on more expensive players.

Somebody is wondering why people fire players and this looks like a good reason.

No I mean the recent change in tax that links the tax to the number of sales. So if you sell 14x$1k players and then you try to sell a $3 million player, you could make less than $50k for the whole lot (I remember Kozlik was at 102% tax on new players with 14+ transactions).

In the past there was no drawback to sell multiple $1k-$10k, yes you would get less than the final price (old tax) but it did not affect your subsequent sales (old tax with recent adjustments).

I'm not going to sell scrubs for that price with the risk that I'm losing tens of thousands on more important players.

These are my scrubs that I will fire when someone better comes along because my starters are worth $500k+ and each 1% drop in price due to the new tax system is a minimum of $5k loss.
Héctor Adorno 6/4/7 8/5/9 6/7/4/6 6/3 23yo 6'9'' starter (bought at 22yo for 2k)
Adrian Chernov 3/7/6 5/6/7 5/5/6/7 6/6 20yo 6'0'' allstar (bought at 19yo for 4k)
These are players that could have helped somebody.
