Being someone who has ALWAYS squandered their payola I know about hunting down those values in the discount racks https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QK8mJJJvaes and there are still come ups out there, though some of them do smell like R-Kelly's sheets.

Question is. is there time to pull off a coup here and now??? If you think so, go for it, I personally have always gone the George Allen route. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L8QI8s4XdLo and those are the cats you can get for a song this time of year.

Three games to overcome with six to go, if you can get there everyone above better start getting real nervous.

12) Players with higher stamina can play more minutes than players with low stamina and still have good GS
Interesting one. Do you have the evidence for this? I seem to have missed it...

It was announced by Marin. Whether you believe it was significant or not that's a different issue as we don't know how big this change was.

I have 2 players with 9 stamina and I can safely say that it's not advisable to go over 70 consistently even for this kind of guys. I think around 60 is your best bet for any stamina level (I only have 5 and above though), maybe around 68 for 8-9 stamina and 55 for 1-2 Stamina.

However we'd need to pool data and make a statistical analysis to be able draw robust conclusions.

So no longer the 48-76 minute deal...

That's odd, though, cause I've had players play a hell of a lot of minutes and turn out fine the next week. I guess that's the random factor.

I said consistently...play them a lot of minutes every week and see what your odds are of getting them to proficient :)

My guy (21226157) (9 stamina) this season alone:
7, 61>7, 52>7, 71>7, 72>8, 84>7, 70>8, 49>8, 72>8, 70>8, 65>9

I think he's the starter with fewer weeks at proficient I've ever purchased.

They've been on 8 and 9 most of the season. They're a bit shabby at the moment because I didn't realise that I would have two cup games in one week, so I had to play a lot of them extra minutes.

Yeah one week can be absorbed, it's several weeks in a row that are a problem.

Then again I'm using a doctor with massage specialty, so it's possible that it affects (reduces) the tolerance to high minutes on high stamina players. Maybe someone without a massage specialty doctor can give his perspective.

Well I've played several players at over 70/week and they've still stayed solid. I must be lucky..

Yeah well, let's call it that. If you play your 126k SG on strong GS 99 minutes, you don't train GS and (as it happened) his GS improves, then you must be very lucky indeed...

When stuff like that happens or when people hold GS with 80+ or 90+ on multiple players, I always assume that they have trained GS.

This is my other 9 stamina guy:
7, 32>7, 73>8, 67>7, 71>8, 65>8, 76>8, 74>8, 60>8, 76>8
This guy was at proficient in 6 of the final 8 weeks last season with minutes ranging between 55 and 70...and he is the main reason for my claim that lower seems to work better

For the OP. Just assume that the old rule of thumb for GS still apply, but that high stamina players can tolerate higher minutes more effectively. This change apparently was made because without blanks, the minutes for 8-9 stamina players are extremely difficult to manage.

Yeah, when I put him over I did train GS. Otherwise, no.

I think the 76 minutes is still ok. Unless you can show me evidence otherwise, then it still seems ok to give them that many and still be able to get up to 9.
