Point of note: I revealed my team roster strategy through the end of the year to Trinidad at one point and after doing that he copied. His original plan was to build cash and now his plan is to get a quick promotion and sell those 3 guys and then tank(my plan that I revealed to him). Definitely rooting for generals

Real mad I guessed wrong...

I never thought you'd beat me tbh lol. No disrespect intended.

Being totally honest now, my old roster was better, i had 8 really good players, and 2 more capable defenders (bench) players. That 10 wound beat my current 10, this current roster is being driven by my 3 superstars. Vance, LLaurado and Sven are very capable as well though. They are steals for their salary and price. I sold my old roster because I was going to quit the game. I changed my mind after, and i really just wanted to promote, i'd lose my mind spending another season in d4.... so i spent the money on those 3 guys.

and I'm not tanking next season, I plan to add a PG and a solid defensive SF about 3/4 through the season, i'll have a great starting 5 by then.

wasn't a smart thing to gdp me, i change my offense a lot, i expected the gdp tbh... and i have a very capable SG in the backcourt, proven today when he scored 31 points (he threw up some bricks in the 3rd... but he came up for me 1st, 2nd and 4th).

Just another note, I normalled vs your crunch time, which could've been a 15-20 point difference tbh.

Honestly though, the wrong guess helped me, though i still think i would've edged it by a few points =)

I'm probably guaranteed bot promotion based on my record + point difference (bot promo based on teams that didn't win the championship with the best record = replacing the d3 teams that went inactive but did not relegate) but you don't get the fan bonus that you do for winning the championship. That's an advantage to running the table, plus the homecourt advantage throughout playoffs of course.

Your telling me of this plan didn't affect my thinking, I hope you don't hold it against me, I've been down here too long. I barely lost it last season, and i believe i outsmarted you tactically ;)

All the best though, bologna just bought a nice 25k PF, they may give you competition next season.

And i think it will be pretty close, unless a strong d3 demotes, anyone can win the league next year.

getting ahead of myself though, generals are a good opponent and will definitely give me a challenge.

I went 19-3, lost to Dekalb who had that super team of old guys, and twice to Allied precise gunmen, the top seed in my division.

I beat APG by 1 point i think it was, in overtime, in playoffs, and then i lost 0-2 to dekalb in the finals. Still promoted though.

Dekalb and i are the only survivors left from that league, APG and hawkeyes went bot this season :/

dekalb ^^
those 39-41 year olds he has were 20-35k players when we were in d5 together..

there were about 8 or 9 human managers, but only about 4 of us cared.

btw, i saw your player got scouted for U-21s, is he gonna make the team?

No probably not. He's not my main trainee and he hasnt popped great either. Maybe he will if I focus on him a little more, but I'm just trying to get Ioannis Pouliadis in shape for U21 small forward or sold for a million.

Would focus on the greek, he's a bit tall for SF, but a bit short for a big, he could be a short PF. or a hybrid inside build SF with that height. (remember shorter guys train outside skills faster, tall train inside faster - that's why 6'6 is magic spot for SF)

good potential in superstar too, i'd focus on your greek guy, with a good season of pops he should make it to u21, i think he's about a fringe potential u21 player atm. Well, that's based on the USA/Romania systems, i dont know the quality of greek u21 SFs.

probably wont get a mil now, as a 21 year old, esp if he's on the roster yes, but that doesnt help the u21s lol, once you get all his skills to around 10-12 he'll be worth over a mil easy.

i want to start training a SF next season myself...

MVP VOTING IS OUT

So, I expected, my 56k bigman, GAPEJEVAS got MVP, averaging 22 points, 15 boards, 4 assists, that was a given.

my other bigman Auersmacher, got 2nd ! Woo.

Congrats to all the other MVP voting finalists.

How did Bologna's Best get three candidates with a 9-13 record? Lame.
