So i should tank?

With my extremely salary efficient side i went 21-1 in Dii ive already been back in dii for 2 seasons of training, i did plan ahead but then the market went crazy due to utopia.....

I should try not to promote to save money???

No there isnt that option because the game enforces a minimum salary...but you have to pay for salary....or just give money away.......i accept your point about forward planning but still feel 1.5mil is peanuts in todays buzzerbeater, not enough to even buy player for salary floor.

Hey,

I'm in the same situation was 80000 under salary floor, cost me 2600000 to get above it! The players i bought are not even D1 standard..

I personally think they have to fix the bonus if they are going to have such a high salary floor in D1..

Surely the bonus should cover the purchase of 1 outstanding player?

With current prices the bonus needs to be closer to 5Million right?

Transfermarket if quite crazy right now and I also feel bad about spending 3M to 5M for players that still need some training to be competitive (but with good potential and decent skills for their age). Still with 2.6M you could have made a little extra money in the coming weeks and bought a player that's good enough to contribute on this level (see my Yan Chin Mong and Mauricio Lopez buys, MVP+ potentential and young enough to train from backup to starter level at Div I).

Taking the Dutch salary floor of 400k and weekly income of about 780k you could have made more than 300k weekly and combining that with the 2.6M you already had spend it on a nice player. And being under the salary floor wouldn't have cost you anything...just the feeling of giving 80k away weekly instead of giving it to a "not even D1 standard" player.

So I feel your pain with high prices on the market. But you'll soon notice the high income in D1 and how quickly you can earn money with such a low salary team and upgrade it.

Crunchy! If you eat fast enough

Did you even check my salaries before posting that link?

to a team with very similar salaries....i also wonder on that team if higher salary guys arent efficient like my players...

i give you an example of my players with 22000 salary...

Jump Shot: respectable Jump Range: strong
Outside Def.: prolific Handling: strong
Driving: proficient Passing: mediocre
Inside Shot: proficient Inside Def.: sensational
Rebounding: tremendous Shot Blocking: tremendous
Stamina: inept Free Throw: strong

so my team is good enough to promote in that league i think....
