training updates do not happen daily, but weekly. Your training is updated always on the friday mornings (check the Weekly Schedule on the Rules page).

It's good to know also that for a player to increase one skill in one level it may take several weeks of efficient training.

i have in mind, having what you are saying. which is age, minutes being played and how he plays in those games. is it base on time played or the manner he played also for example training in jump shoots but if the player manner of play mostly were just rebs and assist and seldomly takes the shot woudl it affect the training?

the only thing that defines how your player's training is going to be is the number of minutes he has played on the positions you are training. The type of training and positions trained considered are the ones set on the moment of the update on fridays. He needs 48 minutes per week on any of those training positions to receive 100% of training. Doesn't matter what the player does in the games.

Doesn't height also factor in for some trainings?

Yes, taller players train in the "inside skills" better, while shorter players train better in the "outside skills"

Any three for me
Any four will score

yes Height influences on the training, and also Age, the level of the Trainer, the number of positions trained, etc.

But nothing the player does in the game (except his minutes) affect his training.
