I did not know that. It would be cool if each staff member had their own page, and you could see where they've worked before.

Why not flat bid contracted salary? I if bid $250k- $1 million it should last 1-4 season time. Which is fair no matter what level we choose.

Trainers need longer contracts, and need to be paid or bought by the seasons in contracts not weekly.

I would be ok with BB setting the amounts on trainers to start. As long as it seasonal length based on quality none above 1 mill . Weekly needs to go Imho. I hope we can vote on it

if you cancel meetings in real live due to bb you may be addicted to computer games. no offense, just want to notice that - you may not be aware of it.

Although constant raise of staff salary seems to be useless, it's needed as part of BB's economic system. Main goal of this mechanism is to force managers to change trainers - without it, some managers would be able to take all of the best staff members from the market. Other managers would be unable to get salary-efficient world-class trainers/doctors, or at least their price would become even more ridicoulous than now.

What about putting new staff members on market. I've heard that a log of them have graduated in academies recently and are waiting for their first paycheck. There are rumors that even they are willing to work for sandwiches. :-D

But what I would really like to propose is that those with lower level get a pop-up in skill once they have worked some time.

I think that maybe as they go through certain salary trainers should also increase in skill. So no 80k lvl 1-4 trainers should be possible.

Higher level trainers also have faster salary increases already, which means they need to be replaced faster everything else being equal.

It should be something like this:
1: $1-$5k
2: $2k-$10k
3: $5k-$18k
4: $10k-$35k
5: $15k-$60k
6: $20k-$90k
7: $25k+
So there cannot be a lvl 6 with more than 90k salary as he would become lvl 7, and a $18k Competent trainer would become Advanced.

I like that idea. I'm still not sure it would make much effect on the market necessarily, other than possibly a level 3 guy making 17.5k with a good specialty may be worth buying cheaply since he'll go up quickly. Maybe if the ranges were compressed a bit so keeping a guy longterm could be feasible but not optimal, it would be better suited for the people who don't want to mess with their staff.

Someday I need to see how low a salary I can get on a lvl 1 staffer, too. I remember reporting it once that you could fire a guy and then go to his staff page and bid on him, and if he was fired before his salary built up then his salary would be under the $2000 normal salary. I don't think there's any real exploit there - it's too small an amount to care about - but it would be a nice screenshot.

I think this is a good idea.

There have been a lot of suggestions of any kind, good or bad, that were rejected because what a lot of managers like about the game is that it doesn't require you to log in every day, or every few hours, etc.

This is the part of the game that contradicts that notion. Building a team, winning a match, the league, will depend on the manager's skills, decision making, luck... The staff battle is won by the player with the most free time. It's not nice.
