He may have only taken 4 shots but he caused my starting PF, my second best player, to foul out quickly. He had 4 fouls off of that SG playing Center in the first 5 minutes and only ended up played 22 minutes. I've never seen anything like it. I don't know exactly how good his team is, but the game says I have a better world ranking. Though not by much last time I checked.

Any of you know if the reverse patient actually works playing the shooter at the PF spot instead of C ? Asuming that the PF doesnt have OD of course. I 've never tried this way and justo wondering if It works.

As long as whoever is guarding the intended shooter has lower OD, it shouldn't matter too much whether said shooter is playing PF or C. But playing reverse patient through the C is more popular because most managers assume the better outside player of the two bigs will line up at PF.

3-2 zone does not work against patient if all of your players dont have sufficient OD. In tactics like push the ball basic offense motion and patient what the engine does is trying to take advantage of the worst OD player. So most of the time the best shooter tries to get a shot against the worst defender of the 3-2 zone which results in many successfull shots and fouls . And if the best shooter has sufficient passing/driving the problem gets even worse as he opens up the defense for the other shooters to take open shots

You were right, I pulled out game 2, it was close and I managed to guess correctly his team focus - that and the Home Court Advantage helped me squek out a win. I'm not sure how I'm going to win game 3 in his court? He's got the better team so I may have to get lucky again and guess correctly his team focus and/or pace.

The overall perimeter defense in 3-2 zone does not matter that much if there is a weak player in OD. Im not talking about overall bad OD but weak OD on one of the players . Patient constantly tries to find the best mismatch for your player, so if your weakest OD player, your C for example has 7 OD and the reverse patient player has 14 JS and 12 JR then the shooter will try to shoot at the spot/space that your C is guarding. Your C will start commiting fouls and the zone will try to create more double teams, and what many managers dont understand is that this adaptation creates more open shots for your other players so the reverse patient is effective only when u have at least 2 good threats not just one

The B3 finals of folgado lakers and goldsons are perfect examples of what Im talking about
