i had a chance to meet up with a team wit PTB offense, i did putted full court press on them. eventually what happened is i did won the 1st 2 quaters and loss on the 3rd and 4th quarter. at the end i lost by 12 points. theoretically i think it has to do with the stamina. coz i also used the motion offense.

does the pace of the offense have an effect on the player's stamina too?

I have also not noticed a difference in turnovers this season when playing faced paced - against a normal defense. On the other hand, I have noticed a significant difference when playing FCP against a fast paced offense. Again, I only have a few games to go by. It would be interesting to see more data.

Please clarify: "What do you mean by a "significant difference when playing FCP against a face paced offense." Thanks

I'd say about a 25-50% increase in turnovers, compared to last season.

Really? I thought that even last year there seemed to be too many TOs when playing against a FCP—without the corresponding number of easy shots and dunks that should occur when breaking the press. But you now feel that there is at least a 25% increase in TOs? Incredible...

i don't see many pressing games before and after the engine change, but even when they change it i won't say that the fcp becomes to powerfull, so it won't be that bad ;)

In the last seasons, i use the pfcp in hopeless games, with hope to find a to machine on the c or Pf spot, or when i try to win with a high difference^^

you guys u will only get an edge with full court press if it fits your team. its not the best defense on this game, its just a pressure defense that will make the other team use more time on the clock to get the ball up the floor and it causes more turnovers because the other team must be good passers and good ball handlers. it will make boths teams tired because they have to work more. it works better vs run and gun and push the ball because u will be guardin your man the whole court and he wont be able to get open with his speed.

This is bogus and, all in all, false. There is no particular reason why FCP should work better against these particular tactics.

that maybe the only point he is right, there is one reason ;) The prohability is higher to make an fault in handling and passing with fast tactics, and a full court press mostly works in the first seconds, so that you don't profitate from more contacts with slow tactics.

The other think what could be right is the stamina one, i cann't proof it but i would say that this is right because i believe you loosing an specific amount of stamina for each offense you are run.
