Never claimed to that a single team would buy six players.
I said "top teams" in general. There are probably more than 40 teams who are rich and willing to buy 1 player. That's 40 players who are unreachable for smaller teams.

It seems to me that all these extra players on the market would be a benefit to newer teams because it drives down the prices on players. If there were only a few $4000+ salaried players on the TL they would surely all be gobbled up by rich teams at huge prices.

The only way a smaller team is gonna outbid a rich team is to buy a player directly after a TV game. Then they will have the money. The rich team on the other hand.. would probably make the same amount of money just by playing a normal home game. So there is really no way a small team can grow. Imagine this... The top team bought a player and is training it or whatever... and puts it on the market. Who do you think is gonna buy it. Another top team player. Surely this is inevitable.. there IS gonna be a gap between divisions.. but i want it to happen gradually... at a slow pace. The new feature just makes it happen too soon. The game is still young... let it develop on it's own. Good players will eventually arise from draft and training. We don't need random generated abandoned players from bots.

hmm, I think I am missing the argument here. My point is that if, say on average 10 players with $4000+ hit the market each week, they will all be snapped up by rich teams at premium prices. If a hundred of these type of players hit the market each week then their value will be lower meaning newer teams will have a chance to get this type of player that they normally wouldn't. That seems like a benefit to me.

The true premium player will still command top dollar which only the top teams can afford which is inevitable. The players hitting the market from bot teams should be average players who will now have a more affordable price tag.

I'm saying that the divisions will be divided too soon into Rich - less Rich- Normal - Poor... from Div I - III .. especially since this is still a new game. You shouldn't be looking at the economics and such at this point. The real objective is to get enough players to play first and then get the economy flowing. And then get the player-data base healthy with skilled players. The problem now is that when you do throw in all the good players in the TL. The rich teams will get them while the poor teams are just watching how they get snatched in front of their eyes. Normally these kinds of players wont see the day light in the TL. That's why drafting and training is so important to get the players. You let them grow to be good. instead of replacing the crap ones with the bot ones. My point is that it destroys the TL and it will be less attractive to start a team in the long run. It was completely fine before the change. Some people just complained to get easy good players... and it works.. not knowing that it might destroy the community.

The rich teams will get them while the poor teams are just watching how they get snatched in front of their eyes.

Then the "rich" teams will sell off some players since they upgraded. Again, with a greater number of good players on the market overall prices will go down, which is in what way bad for poor teams?

Normally these kinds of players wont see the day light in the TL.

And the money they rich teams didn't spend would what, disappear? They'd still have the money so that at some point, they would snatch up the smaller supply of good players.

That's why drafting and training is so important to get the players. You let them grow to be good

It's not like you can build every position through training, at some point you have to go to the transfer list to upgrade. Only now, there will be better players available for the same money since the supply of players is better. The moral is, if you train and in turn win and get more ticket revenue, you'll be able to benefit easier from a better supply of good players on the TL than the teams that don't.

Some people just complained to get easy good players... and it works.. not knowing that it might destroy the community.

??? huh...

Let me again point out that these players are, by and large, really not that good.

NO ONE at this table ordered a rum & Coke
Charles: Penn has some good people
A CT? Really?
Any two will do
Any three for me
Any four will score
Any five are live

They are still EASY replacements for the backups you have. For real, they are not that good compared to what you have, but for the other teams who probably have and allround inept player. Especially since the game is young.. we don't have many prominent players... that is why at this time it's free give aways for the rich people. They are in our eyes good players at this moment. Why not just let the game grow normally.
