Wow, Devils are in this!

It was a fun game. Surprisingly the Devils stayed on it until the final minute. It was a great game, to wrap up a great tournament.

Vitorial Devils Vice-Campeão Mundial, as we say in Brazil. Not bad at all. :D

Congrats to Labude and his ESV Laim! Worthy champion.

Congratulations to GM-Labude for the win, and to raonne for all the campaign. The turnovers really killed Devils. Nontheless, great game. Again, congratulations to both.

I'm impressed with how quickly our B3 trophies showed up, but they (mine and Labude's) look like Cup trophies instead of the traditional B3 trophies.

NICE game Raonne and congratulations to Laim!

yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That is why it is called the "present."

Second Team:
Slaytanic
Linking this match to the new GE:

Inside tactic = 60 shots of 83 have been taken by G/P/SF
Rebounds = 1 full lvl of difference but numbers say another thing
Defense = chose a wrong defense seems not dangerous at all, I'd like to see at high lvl who today is using 2-3 defense...

The final was played in a German arena :p

Thank you all!

Devils played a great B3-season too with powerful blowout victories against Hostivar, Asingratitos and Chicago Bulls. So I expected a tough fight yesterday and I'm glad I won. :)

Which I think is a good example of why only looking at the match ratings to determine the outcome of a game is not a great practice. ESV Laim took 12 more shots, so it make sense to me that Vitoria would have more boards, especially given that Maaranen outplayed Hielscher-Uhl and de Jong pretty convincingly. Vitoria had 21 turnovers, which looks to me like the key to the game.
I do agree with you that the choosing of defenses seems to matter less now than it did before, but I haven't looked at enough games to have anything but a small sample size, so a definitive statement about the death of one tactic or another is , at least in my eyes, unfounded.

At any rate, it was a good B3 tournament with a very deserving winner and runner-up. Congrats to both!!!

ps- strong (medium) vs. respectable (high) is only 2/3 of a full level by the way I count levels.

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.
