So they just resign Pryzbilla off the welfare line, and Oden has played in 2 seasons. Camby is solid, but starts quite often and Thomas is old old old. The guys you named for Portland are terrible.

Aldrich is not special, but name someone who has a better 5th big guy? Collison is far better than Pryzbilla btw.

As for the others, I talked about every bench player as well, however depth is from top to bottom, not just from the bench. Nobody ever said "bench depth to start the argument"...

First off, Denver was the 8th seed yesterday. When they won late they moved up to the 7th seed. So that's not actually hypocritical at all.

The fact that you just compared the 2003-2004 Pistons to the Nuggets is sickening. Are you just trying to get a reaction or you just don't like to admit you are wrong? Denver is all about running and playing offense. That Detroit team was one of the best defensive teams of the past 20 years. They had a great 6 year run to the conference finals at least and would have won back to back titles had Rasheed not helped off of Robert Horry to hit the game winner for the Spurs....then SA won the next game and the title. How are the Nuggets like the Pistons? The Pistons had a GREAT floor leader in Billups that also hit big shots. Lawson doesn't come close to Billups. Then they had some of the best length defensively you could imagine. Big PG, very long armed SF in Prince, Sheed at PF, and Big Ben at C. The nuggets can't even spell defense....of course they can't spell their leading scorers last name either. The only resemblance is the fact that Detroit spread out the scoring a little bit. So Detroit won a championship without a true "superstar" (although billups and hamilton are both multi-year all-stars) but had a bunch of guys better than what Denver had. Plus they were a defensive team which is completely opposite.

I am not sure what you have been watching about the Thunder, but almost everyone says they are the West favorites and after the heat they also think OKC has the next best shot to win it.

Now let me do what you do to try and get the last word.

Hey man, we both realize that you don't know anything about basketball so let's just drop this okay? Sound good? Please don't tell me I'm wrong again even though I know I am...i just wanted to get a last jab in to make me feel tough? Okay? Please? PLEASE???

Alright bro, first off I'm not being a dick about it when i say can we stop talking about this, since the topic doesnt fit the thread like you were. Second, The Nuggets have been the 7th seed since sunday (When the Nuggets beat the Spurs and the Rockets lost to the Clippers), a day before you made that post so, no sir, you were either lying or mistaken. I forgive you though. Now whether you want to flame on about this for another week i dunno, but im done. I just look forward to next week when the Nuggets beat the Thunder and show them who is the boss.

They supported crappy teams for 4 years (2 hornets 2 thunder) before they had success. Sure it was new in town, but OKC has really taken to the Thunder. It would take a lot of losing to keep fans out of that arena. Luckily it probably won't happen anytime soon since they have the superstars locked up. I know it sounds crazy that OKC would support a loser, but when you have nothing else to support, why not? College basketball used to be big at OSU and OU, but people have gravitated to the NBA. It is actually amazing how quickly it turned into a Thunder town.

btw, right when the Lakers look like they are turning the corner, Kobe has back to back TERRIBLE nights and they fall to Washington and Detroit.

Just when I was about to write I take it all back, I saw the clippers lost to the Nets. Tis the season for teams to play retarded. But the perils of a Lakers fan, every couple months bad kobe rears his ugly head for a few games. We are in the middle of a bad kobe stretch. It's that simple.

Yeah, the Western conference has a lot of parity after OKC and SA. Crazy really.

As for Kobe, if he would let his ego get out of his way, then the Lakers would be a possible contender. Feed the effing ball to the post almost every trip. Gotta play the inside out game with that kind of low post talent.

I know this is off topic, but I keep hearing "Rubio".

CLIPPERS vs lakers OK!

Dear T-Wolves Fans,

Hi,my name is Hopson in BB. Rubio is injured and out for the season. T-Wolves are back to where they started.
Now,Lets enjoy the CLIPPERS win this contest.

Now,SIncearly,Hopson

Yeah,Clippers and the lakers have theyre ups and downs,But In my opinion, the Lakers have one of the worst depths.
OKC,SA,and LAC are my best picks for the West. LAC has an averege Bench

LA is a contender again! Ramon Sessions Welcome to Hollywood. Bye-bye Fishy! This really is gonna be a tough match-up down the road. Maybe Clippers get someone like Thab, Ray, or a Crawford in offseason.

Update: Clippers got Nick Young not an upgraded over Chauncey(maturity issues) but is a drastic improvement over Mo at the 2. Go Clipps!

Let's go Lakers!!

I don't know much about any of the incoming players, but I do know that we gave up almost nothing tangible besides a draft pick for some much needed help in the PG spot and an attempt at adding depth.

It'll be very interesting to see how chemistry is built, whether Sessions will start immediately or even ever, and how Fisher's absence might affect the court.

I know there have been some rumors that the Lakers were kind of "rebelling" against Brown's offense and implementing more elements of the triangle offense into their game. If that's true, it'll probably take a hit with Fisher out and Sessions, trying to earn his minutes, listening to Brown.
