To tell the truth the name is just on the tip of my tongue and I just can't get it out. But it is better to keep identities secret I think for the integrity of the process.

Nice guess but he is actually the opposite, he is a total slurry and posts the stats of all of his players everywhere. About the quality of his players I suspect he would disagree.

I think what would be great is if we had a list of good managers and their training plans/needs we could let know if a player suiting their purpose comes along. Like a dating side for managers and trainees. But no chinese brides......

Not a bad idea, Mickyster, but the obvious flaw is other managers in your league knowing your training plans can predict your tactics a little easier imo...

...especially when managers are playing say their stud guards in big positions or vice versa...

If the u21 player is in a div 2 team and is receiving good one position training, i cant see why that Manager wouldnt mind announcing his skills.

Almost impossible to be competitive with them in the team and come the business end of a season there not going to be your key players any how

As a bit of a test for candidates (and ofcourse anyone else who wishes to partake) I will list the skills of my 3 trainees in the Training - Results/Strategies thread in the Wombats Federation and encourage each of you to comment on what training you suggest that I give them for the coming season.

I would list them in this thread, but its probably not wise for Williams skill set to be freely accessible by other countries U21 coaches.

I dont think any of you would morally be breaking any election laws if you could just demonstrate your knowledge in that thread without any election talk, before bringing the debate back to this thread.

i personally disagree - knowing certain things such as your opponents PF OD.

like, to me, thats an important stat - it doesnt really show up in the box score or rating, and knowing that ur opponent's PF has only, inept OD, may help decide how you play.

just using that as an example. its the stats of players, which are less likely to change, or not change that much, AND which arent obvious from general box score/previous playing. they are the secret ones. :)
