Has anyone here experience in training outside-scoring?!

I trained it so many weeks for SGs and just got a few pops. There were three weeks of training in a row without any pop, so i'm really disappointed.

I had 2 lvl-ups in Jump Range in my first Week of Training. Seems i had a little luck.

But i cant imagine that my players also improve Driving, when i train "outside shooting". Is that sure that they do ?

Jump shot, Jump Range, ok, but i think that perhaps passing or handling would be fitting better to this kind of training, or Outside Defense. Anyone wtih some experience with this kind of Training (for PG/SG)?

Actually driving makes more sense than either passing or handling.

When your outside shot improves the defense has to play you tighter making it easier to drive, thus your driving improves. However your court vision for passing or your ability to handle the ball would not be similarly effected...and it certainly would not help your defense in the least.

with Jump Shot training... why do Forwards only get trained in 2 attributes vs guards in 4 ?

or is this still all guess work?

I take it there is no data on forwards trained only in JS for a solid block of 8-9 weeks?

The first post of this thread (381.1) suggests that FTs pop on average every 2-3 weeks.
