CAN ANYONE HELP ME?


Is there anyone out there that could help me with my logo and banner? My team is called the" New York Harlem Globetrotters" and i would love some help with it. The team is based on the original Harlem Globetrotters team name.

Not a request for a designer ... I was actually looking for software suggestions from people who make logos/banners for this site. Cheaper/free = better. I really don't want to shell out a few hundred bucks for a program I only intend to use a handful of times. Haven't done any work like this since making website banners 10 years ago.

Gimp! Like photoshop, only free. It has almost all the features photoshop has, and there are LOADS of tutorials. Once you get used to the interface it is quite good. I read an article in Practical Web Design(.NET in UK) with several web designers using Gimp INSTEAD of photoshop.
