I just sort of realized this, but shouldn't Nitra Corgons be number1? I mean he won the tournament that is the best teams and won so shouldn't he be number 1? I mean it makes more sense to me.

i accept that the ranking works pretty similar to NT ranking, nobody knows how many games in the past are taking into a count though.. there are few teams ranked high even without good results in past few seasons. I see there must be some country (or league) coeficient which has pretty big effect (as well as home tournament or league).. canadian teams are higher maybe becose of Torooo´s run in the past etc.. It should be revieled a bit as well as the NT rankings system i guess becose this ranking system affects HCA in the games so has real impact on the games.. The lower your team is ranked the better for you in B3..

for NT this question is easy, you have exactly 2 seasons included in the ran king and the more important the games the more points you earn per win. igh

The ranking difference betwen the teams also affects, how the points are given. So when you win against a much stronger opponent(in ranking) you get all the points, but the much stronger opponent need to beat you with a high margin to get all the points.

And to be honest Laim as leader isn't such a bad choiche, he have a very strong BBB performance over the last seasons and is leader of the strongest league.

well if it works like in NT rankings than quality of opponent dont play a role in some point.. i have tried to find out how NT rankings works 5 seasons ago and they revieled the scheme right after that. i can say that quality of opponent is not important if you win by 40+ (or 50+) i dont remember now.. so it is always better to pick lower seeded team and beat him by 50 than higher seeded team and beat him by 10 or 20 (if you find that one)..
as i have said i like i am 8th and definately didnt mean that Laim is that team who shouldnt be ranked high..

rwystyrk(hope i write him right) make a study about it, and there the quality played a role, if you beat him by 50 you always get the full point but when you make a win with +1 you get 75% of the possible points when the opponent was much weaker and close to 100% against an much stronger one.

if you win by 1 you will never make close to 100%.. even that 75% i am not sure, but is more than real life year ago i have studied this. i would say if you beat better team you will get close to 75% not 100%..

with rwystyrk data is was alway betwen 75 and 100 percent, he don't have that much 1 points upset in his study especially none of the quality of a win of malta against spain so it is just speculation :) But if you are weaker ranked you need much smaller different in points to get the whole points.
