before placing reactions on the post I am reacting on, I'd like to comment on this part I read earlier somewhere:

I realy don't think this is the case. I still think that many BBs would turn in their income and the work that goes along with it, to just be able to keep playing the game. They'll just find an other job. Their job won't be fun anymore if they can't keep playing. I might be wrong, but I don't think that statement was right.
I have always thought it is odd that BBs, and to a lesser extent GMs, compete in the game and have teams.
Its a conflict of interest-
#1 The urge to cheat, even if that cheating is just using priveledged knowledge to get ahead
#2 developing/maintaining the game for what you like versus what other users like
#3 Wanting to know less/modify less because you don't want to cheat (some changes taht may favor you)
#4 Lack of perspective- you see the game as a long-term user/inventor.
#1 should be rephrased into: the urge to get cheaters out of the game. As for GMs, there is absolutely NO information we have, that other users can not access.
#2 if BBs do what they like, and not what their users like, the game had probably died 10 seasnos ago.
#3 I can't talk for others, but I never felt that way. I just play the game in a way that gives me most satisfaction, not thinking about things I can or can't do or use because "I would know more then others". I asume this is a characteristic for most of BB and GMs, although I have to repeat GMs actually have no more info then regular users, so it might be diffrent for BBs, don't know about that.
#4 I'm not sure what you mean by that, or what the downside of that is. I would think it would be a positive thing, as they will want to do their best to keep the game attracktive for everyone...
IT seems like most developers are afraid to know the GE, the training etc. to check code, to check the balances and skills of other players, cuz you got your own team. If you didN't have your own team, no NT plaeyrs, no nothing like that then you would just be doing your job, you would be looking for balance, for cheats for glitches etc. You would just be developing.
I never had that impression, so I can't share that feeling. everythnig has cons and pros. If they wouldn't have teams in the competition there pobably would be a post somewhere:
you BBs don't get a feeling with the game as you don't know what it's liek to be in a league, you just are developpers, doing your jobs, but have no feel witht he game.
I don't think that would be a good situation either. BBs being integrated ni the community, being part of it holds many benefits, I'm not so sure pushing them out would be good for the game.
The issue with GMs is they work for free.

No seriously, it sadens me that this is called an issue, especially by an other staff member. GMs, just as LA's are volunteers who try to help the game for their love of it. The next post in this thread might be very well the same, but with the diffrence that in the first sentence LAs and Mods are added.
That said, for all the BBs that have ever come and gone, along with GMs. I do not believe for one minute that they ahve not changed peoples stats, sublevels, fans, income, game outcomes etc. to suit their grudges or whatever . I highly doubt there is sufficient logging, and that it can be modified without anyone ever being the wiser. I think many GMs can do things which no one will notice. corruption happens. People are fallible. Who polices the police? Nobody. TIs the way it goes.
Why do you stop at GM- prefixes? Go ahead and continue the list, add Las to them. Oh no, wait, that would include you, ri
