Haha. That might be the only game I confidently can pick a winner of (no offense Bushrods...). The Demon Hoosier/Extra Crispy game should go the home team's way, but Stalzog was in this exact scenario 2 seasons ago and pulled out a win.. so it certainly isn't a guarantee.

I do have one gap I was hoping to fill that I was not able to. It'll still likely take an injury or a bad foul situation for me to lose, but those certainly aren't out of the question.

I wish I could -1 :p

I think I have a shot at winning this game as long as all of his starters get injured in the first quarter.

Honestly I am just thrilled and surprised to finish 4th with how low my starting salary was and how limited my funds were starting out. I was not excepting to be promoted after last season

Toronto pulls of the road win to go to the finals. Great game, especially the 2nd half of the 4th qtr. Losing Prat to foul out so early had to have hurt. I have never been a big fan of the 'let them play' option as it not only causes a starter to be out early in a case like this, but when in foul trouble players defensive ratings are reduced. Then the backup gets tired as well and instead of a fairly fresh ace you have an exhausted bench player in clutch time. Hindsight is always 20/20 of course and good game all. Should be an interesting finals.

I gotta go with Ron Swanson who has HCA, but Toronto has surprised in the past.

TT took that one fair. My coach did some rather bizarre things though, including playing my backup PG as a PF in overtime. Most of overtime was played without my starters, even though most of them hadn't played many minutes. The offisite match predictor had me at around 90% in this game (comparing last round where we were both at home), and then I pumped him up a category in several key ratings, and I was still at 75%. Fire sale soon.

I will say that one of the very few advantages a traditional approach to promotion seems to have over the slingshot approach is that you get a better feel for your opponents.

IMO Traptors has always been a tough match-up; his guys often have complete builds with more skills than their salaries indicate, and his player complement each other so that the team's sum is greater than its parts.

This might sound like a cheap shot, but Traptors is probably the last team I'd risk trying to sneak a playoff-normal past. And that is just because I've been in the league long enough to see over several seasons that he consistently seems to squeeze more out of his team than you might expect. It's just always a dangerous match-up when you play that team.
