No improvements today for my team this week.... is that correct? Is the training bug cheating me out of a few improvements?

Well, in my "Manage My Team" window it still shows the minutes that a player played and yet my "Training" window my last weeks improvements are deleted... have I been cheated from some improvements because of this bug?

Check later, perhaps the skills aren't updated yet, like when you buy a player and doesn't add instantly to your roster.

Or was just a bad week and only got an upgrade on sublevels. Hope is the first!

PS: We are still waiting in Argentina...

Old Kinderhook, first of all, it's called a debit card. Maybe you would also have the ability to use one if you had any money in your checking account. See? I can make wild and baseless accusations too....of course at the risk of appearing to be a moron, but hey, sometimes you have to lower yourself to level of your audience.

Nice terrible analogy there as well. Think a little harder next time before you try something as complex as that.

Oh....my bad.

Just give me another year, I'll make sure, in the midst of managing my finances... in the midst of budgeting for things like insurance, food, etc, I'll make sure to put aside 3 dollars or so for a year so I can have 40 dollars to spend on Buzzerbeater.

Except no I won't.

It's much more plausible that I just pay 40 dollars and be done with it....and at the end of the day, that 40 dollars will be just like any 40 dollars I spent on ANY other durable good.

Fortunately for me, I have enough common sense to realize that things aren't best looked at from the incredibly inane scope of costs per month.

Hey! I bought a winter coat, it was 150 dollars but that's only like 12.50 per month!

Hey I bought a pair of sneakers for 60 dollars. It's only 5 dollars per month! That's nothing.

Ugh. Did you not read that I wrote this:

We all understand it's a flat rate.

I was just explaining the point Yuck was making. It's clear that even if you understand it, you don't agree with the logic, so fine.

However, I disagree with your examples of retail products like coats or pants because those items ARE investments because they are designed to last a good amount of time. Yuck used the Starbucks example because you pay 5 bucks for something you're done with in 15 minutes. I'm guessing you wouldn't buy a coat for $150 if it was going to last 15 minutes. Personally I wouldn't even it they lasted one year. Your planning on it lasting a while, but you never really know for sure. But I do know that I'd be a lot more likely to spend $150 on a coat if it will last 3-5 years, than if it will last 1 year. And I'd be more likely to do that because the VALUE is higher. More bang for the buck.

With Buzzerbeater, you KNOW for a fact it will last one year. Thus, it is more reasonable to divide by those 12 months to see what the value is a month. And the point that Yuck is making, that I happen to agree with, is that the VALUE for one year is good.

Now, back to the original topic. TRAINING AHHHHHH!

I didn't compare it to Starbucks. That was his awful analogy. That has nothing to do with what I just said.

Ha. I know. Honestly, I'm not mad, but you really need to read my posts better.

Yuck used the Starbucks example because you pay 5 bucks for something you're done with in 15 minutes.

Maybe you thought "Yuck" was a typo for "You." I'll give you a pass I guess.
