Well here were my predictions.

BIG 8.......................GREAT 8
Koops...................... Meateors
Downunder................Crocs
Razzle......................Slammers
Goldfish....................Cowboys

I got 6 out of the 8 positions right.

as it turned out

BIG 8.......................GREAT 8
Koops...................... Meateors
Downunder................Crocs
Yarra.......................Slammers
Razzle......................Battlers

Game of the first round of playoffs will be Razzle -v- Koops, both in with a chance to win the league, but 3 hard games in front of them to do it.

Yarra are not the easy beats everyone thinks they are, they have lots of expereince and will put up a good fight, downunder to win in a close one thanks to home court.

On the other side going on our last game, I should be Battlers, but I expect them to be playing crunch time this game, home court should get me home.

Crocs to beat slammers also, but expect slammers to play crunch time and go all out for this one.

Should be a good playoff series.

DT are strong favs against Yarra. I will struggle to beat them as my team just doesn't have the power yet to do so. Forget my last 2 matches, as I played team who took things very easy. DT will win easily. (15+)

Koop V Raz - Raz has only won 2 out of the final 7 matches and both against the 2 bottom sides. Is it bad form, or just mind games pre playoffs. Whatever it is, it almost cost him playoffs. Koop however, has been flying all season however, as good as they are, I think that raz has a better team and the exp to go with that. Razzle by 7.

Bat V Meat - The Battlers will be a very tough team to beat, and in the past they have upset the favs so The Meateors will be in a tough battle. The question is, do the meateors have enough offensive power, and do the battlers have enough defensive power. I believe that it will be the defense of the Battlers that will let them down in the end. Meat by 5.

Nor V Crocs - Crocs have a very superior team and Northcote I believe a still a season or two from being able to knock of a team like the Crocs. Crocs by 12.

Kyn V Pride - Kyn in 3
Flames V Rat - Rat in 2

Steves Crocs to promote to ABBL

Battlers will be tough, they have a winning record over me on 5-3 over the journey, and 2-1 over the last 2 seasons we played in the same Div.

They have some big men that have not had a lot of game time, but they seem good players, so they may put them in to shake things up a bit.

trying to pick what they will play is tough, not sure what offence or defence I will play to try to counter.

When it is all said and done, I have more to lose than Battlers, so I am expecting a hard game, I have a target on my back, have had it all year.

Good to see someone else has been tipped to win the title, Steve Crocs.

no doubt crocs are strong but you da man

upsets do often happen especially when one team doesnt put in 100%

but all things being equal you should win

jj- you dont win cake you are the fruitcake

2 guys sold down to 199 now just sell the rest and you wont be bankrupt but you must have lost $900,000 already, brilliant move

I have bipolar disorder (so don't call me a fruitcake please), I'm prone to doing irrational things.

Logged in Friday night and checked my training update. Zero total pops for the second week in a row after perfect one-position OD training the last 2 weeks. And then I realised I missed the playoff eligibility deadline to transfer-list my players so they would now sell for a lot less. And the only worthwhile draft prospect I found is going to Iwen.

The past week I quit my job and broke up with my girlfriend so I figured I might as well kill my BB team as well. Bought all those players and spent the rest of my money on ridiculously overpriced staff, then fired them a bunch of times until I was 500k in debt.

I'll have a new team in 2 weeks.

well

quitting your job can be a positive, gives you a lot more free time

and the option to set your life in a new direction

dropping your girlfriend can be good too, if she knows you well and really cares she wont let you drop her and will stay around

if not dont worry there are a ton of others out there - you will probably end up with someone nicer and hotter

as for the team -bad decision i think

even if it seems like it all sucks and i dont know how much debt you have you still are in d3, you still have your arena, and last time i checked you had an amazing trainee one of the top in australia

ok, so you just chucked a million away, not good, but there is a rescue plan

list everyone tonight for $1 except your 3 trainees and a favourite player or two - i would only keep kris, ludovic and giocondo but you may have to sell one of two of them as well depending on how bad the debt is

everyone that doesnt sell - sack

with luck you can get back to positives

i hope you have still got a trainer, sack your doctor and pr dude

if you cant afford a trainer still do stam or ft training

starting again in div 4 will be really bad and while i want you to leave them for me there are several good prospects in our draft - but just one insane one and iwen only has 2nd pick so not him...

you may also have to set scouting to 0 - but that hurts a lot

let me know how in debt you are

you can be div 3 with a big arena, a great trainee or two and some awesome draft picks

or you can be div 4 with nothing

PS: one of my workmates is badly bipolar, dont know if she is better or worse than you, but she is an ace worker (and really hot) 90% of the time, and we just accept that 10% of the time she will be morose and useless - she is well worth it

I've got MPD (multiple personality disorder)... so I'm not that far away from you dingleton.

You don't have to give up just yet, I think goldfish is right, better to be in div3 with some arena and some trainees then in div4 with nothing at all...

if u are sick of your team, change the team name, if u are sick of the players, change them all... if u are sick of the game.. then just log on to BB less often =P
