I know...we have to be more confident !

The best players are still here, but there are not enough replacements.
We can still fight !

Well I rarely speak on the forum
so I'll make a little comment of my season

with the transfers of early season, I really thought it was a season of transition.

I even told at Jo that the fourth place seemed like a good goal because my outside sector was and still much weaker than the previous season.

Despite this I did a very good run in both cup and league
But my defeat in cup leaves me very "bitter taste".
Reach the final for lose it hurts.
The injury to my best player who is my only PG had a too big impact.

I wish good luck to all teams still in the PO and PD
It should be at least two injured players of Jo for there to be a suspense ^ ^

I tell you already to next season
I'll be back stronger :-p

I suppose that you wanted to use that period to buy a new player the less expensive as possible

I'm not sure that works.

I have the impression that they get cheaper each day after the deadline passed.
I think most are trying this tactic, which results in the opposite effect...

Injuries suck all the time.
But now I have one that sucks less. Even Rebella is injured for 2 weeks and is in shape 9, so I could make good use of him, I plan on training anyway, and just filled his spot with my trainee. I will probably loose, and when the new seasons starts, he might be back, so I won't miss him actually...
No injuries are better, but I don't mind this one so hard.

:)

btw, I'll be training my first jumpshot training EVER next week. woooooo. (and it might even give me 4 pops at once!)

They are not your friends; they dispise you. I am the only one you can count on. Trust me.

No other reaction about PO and PD games?

Sorry but my laptop is on maintenance ... And therefore limited connection thanks to my iphone :p
There are therefore chances that i will not be connected tomorrow for the game :( but it should not change the result of the game for sure :) vottem is toooooo strong!!!!! i just hope not to loose by more than 40pts :p

So i am in all cases happy with my season of transition (as will be the next one too). I couldn't have reach better... Being in the same conference as vottem.
I therefore expect a final between vottem and boes (the 2 biggest salary budgets of the BBBL btw) with a victory of vottem without too many problems.

Good luck to everybody!

for those interested:
in div II Tinenen is on his way back to the BBBL.

Since I am able to play Sammy at his own position (I'm training JS this week) I could test him, and am glad with his performance, especially given his stamina and a 48 minute game against Westmalle.
On the other hand I was surprised the game was so tight. So knowing Westamalle had HCA, put equal amount of effort in the game, played a BoD with holes in the team, and then only marginally won the game, I don't think he has any chances against Tienen. Westmalle is not strong enough today, maybe, if he is lucky with which team will come to DII.4, he might get it next year...
Maybe it's for the best, as my team is half the team it was when I left BBBL, and BBBL teams have evolved since, his team is not ready for BBBL anyway.
Is the gap growing? I don't know, I never realised there was such a big gap, until I entered the league.

Anyway. Good luck to all who have important games!

Stonestars 80-103 Vottem

For this game, Ximee has chosen a very experimental tactic: playing with one PG and 4 big men. Of course the consequence was a very high inside scoring, but also a bad outside defense. The other problem was that, with a zone 3-2, his big men had many difficulties to stop Berte, Le Quellec and Otvetchikov, and De Neef was more often on the bench than on the field because to his fouls. The difference was made after 2 quarters, and so I could put my best players on the bench during all the last quarter. With the come back of Chorev, I'm ready for Tuesday.

I wanted to make a try (with an incredibly high inside offense with a sum of 72 in IS for the $ big men) as the defeat was sure. The tactic worked quite fine finally... except that my P did fouls very early and played therefore less than 20 mins... Clearly not good playing full inside and without bench at the same level! Without that, the score would have been much more closed as the outside defense, even if clearly weaker, playing quite good looking at %age of shoot of Vottem...
Nevertheless, the HCA was there and couldn't change the result. Vottem deserves logicaly the victory... as expected.

Good luck to the remaining teams!
