Alright I've had a bit of a look and surprise, surprise it's not the year of the super draft.

I can tell you immediately if you're looking for a decent sized, 18yo, PF/C, then you're out of luck. Very slim pickings, mostly 6'0"-6'5" and even they aren't bringing the house down.

The best I've seen is an 18yo, 4 ball potential, A+, PF, at 6'8"...

There may be a couple of ok 19yo big guys but I wasn't really interested enough to look to deep there.

Well maybe I can save some of you wasting points on a worthless draft. We're all Australians, in this together right? Plus I've already got my number 1 in position! ;-)

I for one thank-you and like you said, you have first pick so it won't change anything.

Sadly you are correct. I can 100% guarantee there is no 18 year old 5/5 or even a 4/5 in the draft.

As for the 18yo, 4 ball potential, A+, PF, at 6'8 who is Player 18 for me it is interesting to compare box scores. For me he had 37 MIN 10/19 FG 0/2 3PT, 8/11 FT 2 OR 4 TR 1 AST 3 TO 3 STL 3 BLK 3 PF 29 PTS.

0 x 5/5
0 x 4/5
1 x 5/4

It is another totally pathetic ABBL draft.

I have wasted my points but unless you like 5/2 guys or 4/3 B- guys I would suggest keeping your points.

There are a couple of box scores on some 2/3 star rating players, which I haven't interviewed, that have between 20-27 points and reasonable looking stats.

I might check them out just for sh!ts and giggles.

So you just happen to pull a cool 2.8mil out of your you know what...?

I guess WA is a dump or Immortals should be worried. Maybe even Goldfish too.

It was meant to happen by ASW latest but things didn't go to plan. Still a little too much for those players, but if anything, with the young players I've bought end of last season, I've got a nice semi young group of players coming through to take over in a couple of seasons time.

Looks like YPB didn't like their tough loss to me and really want to avoid relegation with yet another massive million dollar purchase.

Mantvilas Orlinskas (25129019)
Center
Owner: Yarra Park Bears
Weekly salary: $ 189 527
Age: 24
Height: 6'11" / 211 cm
Potential: hall of famer
Game Shape: inept

I would not want to be facing them in a relegation series. Still they are looking strong to make 5th now anyway especially as Urmummas have their entire team up for sale. They are safe so time to cash in all their pensioners. Good news for both YPB and the Donkeys as that turns two probable losses into two wins. More bad news for the Goldfish.

With Koopasaurus looking so dominant who is left to challenge them? High School Drop-outs are probably the only real threat in the Great 8. In the Big 8 Aussie Pride has been solid and haven't lose a game since Janurary. Stone Slashers are wildly inconsistent. North Carlton Cavaliers are selling their best player so are probably satisfied with just making the playoffs.

Ants or BLS would need to make some moves and while Immortals look like missing the playoffs unless something amazing happens they just made a big move and could be a nightmare opponent from 4th and have won from a low seed before. More likely they are just getting ready for relegation.
