you should focus on competing against the people in your own division, who all have the same range of funds available to them as do you... if you can build a competitive team within your own division when you promote you will get more funds and will be able to improve your team and compete at the next level. The idea as we've been discussing in this thread is to improve the players that the top division teams are buying so that lower division teams can purchase the slightly less good players.

You can pick up some nice players for 1k on the transfer list. You dont have to have a player with respectable everywhere yet.

I totally disagree on that point. I'm now looking for a good player for weeks and the only thing I can buy for 200k is a player worst than the ones i already have. Of course yes I can compete with the other teams of my D.IV but i'll never be able to be comnpetitive with D.III if by luck I go the D.III and that's the big danger for the game in my opinion.

If you advanced to D.III, your financial situation would improve to the appropriate level for that division.

You most likely wouldn't be winning the title that 1st season, but you wouldn't be a minnow either.

Glancing at your roster (without seeing any stats, obviously), there are plenty of players on the market that could improve your roster without breaking the bank.

Ok kids, we have heard the issues, concerns and complaints. If you just started, you are going to have growing pains. If you have been here a while you have cash. If you are in a division lower than III, don't expect to win the NBBA anytime soon. In a week, your teams attitude will be regulated a little more too. Finally, the TL is not for everyone and it's key to understand that.

The TL is like the library, no one really likes going there because when you do, you have to do research. I am glad ebay/walmart/costco/ times are done with the TL and now you have to go back to work and do something real for your life.

I picked up a solid 29 yr old guy yesterday for 25k. I know friends who have picked up better guys for less than that so I know there are bargans out there. This means looking at EVERY player out there. Day Traders can you help me out here. I am sure they will since now they can get their last few ones in before the ASG.

WILL SOMEONE KILL THIS THREAD BECAUSE WE HAVE NOW REACHED HOF STATUS!!!!!!!
