Election fever is gripping the nation as the country is going to be in search of a new coach. 'Who would be the best coach for the National Team?' Who knows? That is why we approached Coach Overcash of the Eastern County Wolverines and asked him what he looks for in a good National Team Coach. This is what he had to say
'What do I look for in a National Team Coach? Well, first off, he/she would have to know how to manage their own team. How can you be a coach of the best players of a country and not even know how to manage your own team? They also need to be SUPER dedicated to the game.'
'They would need to reach out to people in that country and ask for help sometimes and also let them know what is going on. They also need to help people that have their players and teach them how to manage Game Shape, train them etc.'
'I think that a National Team Manager all in all needs to be DEDICATED, SMART with his own team and SOCIABLE with all the people in that country.'
There you have it guys. Remember, vote smart.

Upsets happen everytime in sports and is the joy of the pundits. The Canadaian Media had being calling for Zmtomako's head two weeks before this game. The question is, 'Was that justifiable?' That's your call.
The pundits and advocates for change to the Zmtomako era would be overjoyed as the 29th ranked team in the world, Canada lost 86-94 to the 44th ranked Romania in a Consolation Tournament game. The X-Factor towards the loss was probably the injury to key player Momar Maja just a few seconds into the game.
Romania had Prodigious Inside Scoring despite putting less into the game than Canada.
Canada finished 22nd in the tournament with a 5-2 record. They are the highest seeded team in America in the tournament. They now HAVE to win the First Round of the next game and get a Crunch Time win to get HCA for Worlds.

NOTABLE STATS:

Essa Abu-Kaleel: EAK had 26 points shooting 11 for 16 from the field and 2 for 4 from downtown. He also coupled that with 9 boards and 1 dime.

Diant Stronks: The Big D had 12 points on the night, getting 4 from 14 to fall from the field and getting 2 threes from 5 tries. He had a rebound and 3 assists.

Momar Maja: Believe it or not, Maja had 0 points, 0 rebounds, 0 assists. Did I mention he didn't play a full minute?

Maja was not injured...it may make writng these easier if you follow the off site forum and watch the game.

Maja's gameshape sucked so he sat. That is my fault as he played way too many minuted last week. It was due to an injury where Maja was set as a back up but it was a stupid tactical mistake by me.

Sorry Z I have some blame in this loss as Maja in Proficient shape would have been a big difference.

I was actually out of town today so I missed the game and yes, I do follow the offsite. Go check that out first before you blast me. Sorry for the mistake, Canada.

Bro that was far from a blasting, so chill.

Just so you know replays are available if you wanted to watch the game after it occurs.

Good write ups, just make sure they are accurate otherwise people may have issues with them.

Teo Saint-Arnaud's owner is finally letting him go on the transfer wire. Hopefully he goes to an owner that doesn't ruin his gameshape so that he can be put back on the NT where he belongs.

A good season? Yes.
Good enough? Maybe not for the demanding Canadian citizens and media.
This National Team Season ended for Canada as they fell to Ukraine 73-106. They finished with a 5-4 record in competitive games. A few questionable decisions by Coach Z including being called out by three Naismith managers summed up the disappointing season for the Canadians.
When things go wrong, we all want to blame someone and Zmtomako was unfortunately the victim of harsh criticisms. He is a Division II manager so he was definitely not the most experienced we could have had but he did good following the surprising departure of Greerzilla.
Tommy Germain finsihed the season with the most assists(35), Herman Kearns led in points(125) and Momar Maja led the team with 74 rebounds.
