What do you mean a "real" 40k? Keep in mind that Buzzer-Manager is just an estimate and doesn't take into account sublevels, which can be very important. Not attacking you, just curious.
The general issue with high salary players is that some are worth every penny, while others have 1 or 2 high skills and horrible secondaries. I'm a big fan of people buying Centers with Tremendous IS/ID/RB and atrocious JS/OD/PA. My backups can mostly hold their own against these types of players and my starters are built to embarrass them. That said, I am still in DIV.32.
I think TheGame is pretty spot on with the rankings. I would submit:
Top Tier Big 8
Super Sonics
Charlie and the Unicorns
Second Tier Big 8
Detroit Chuckers
Duluth Dirty Dogs
Sonics are tough and have a legit inside presence now. Charlies are legit with Gilbert Myles. Duluth and Chuckers probably have another year ahead of them at least.
Top Tier Great 8
Lebron Slam Down
Kansas City Tigers
Little Chance
Everyone Else
KCTigers are good, but I give the advantage to LSD until further notice. Slatington isn't the same team without Efrain Casillas and Ball Hoggers are too new to pose a legit threat just yet.
