Nothing about my big sale? I could be going for the title!

And no, my buy does not mean I am going for the championship. Just a rotation based on player ages - my salaries are still manageable.

Nice pick up, certainly make round 1 of finals interesting for both games in the Great 8, Big 8 don't have any easy beats either. Like I said before, this is the most competitive battle for playoffs that I have seen in this Div to date!

You've done pretty well really, only just missed out by 5th spot. Not uncommon to see all promoting teams relegate straight back down. Iif you stay up you should only get stronger for it. Look at Lordy for instance, his team is just starting to come on, probably only 1 more big player away from causing really having a fair crack at it!

Actually just looking back, it seems Aussie, Allsorts and Lordy all promoted in season 16 together. Now they are 1st, 3rd and 4th respectively in 3 seasons. I point out Lordy as in that season he finished 7th, so has really built his team after only just sneaking through.

Yeah, it's just a matter of surviving to start with, then building a team from there. I think I landed on the wrong side of the league though, I might have gone close to playoffs in the Great 8! I'd say i'm still a few seasons off making any real noise, the challenge will be building a team that's capable of winning if I managed to stay up this season.

There could potentially be 5 teams leaving the Great 8 at the end of the season. I favour the Big 8 teams in the relegation series. Hags is going bot soon and the league champion might also be from the Great 8.

Could be a very different looking Great 8 next season if you are correct.

Yep, been building my team on a tiny budget for the past few seasons. Taken a big jump with the latest buy but still a manageable 300k.

I have definitely been very lucky to stay up as long as I have considering some of the terrible buys I have made.

But you are locked into 5th and wont pay salaries for the next two weeks which will help a lot. Also it is a great time to look at your trainees and see how they have blossomed while you were away. Maybe even a sale (although yesterday would have been much better!) would help.

PS: NBL is looking really exciting this season I have watched two games in the last two weeks on ONE and they were both great. There was even a big discussion somewhere about a few of the BB guys getting Wildcats Memberships.
