wow this is getting complicated,

i think talent overall is just a gauge of how or probable your game will be played,

its like seeing the lakers going against memphis after the gasol trade, you can see a disparity in talent but how the game goes is another.

what could affect a game big time

1. foul trouble - if you best guys are sitting what damage can they do
2. hustle and aggresiveness - talent alone cannot work without hard work, that was use to be teach even by moses malone to barkley. if you tie vs a weaker team you have already level the game, before it should be 80-20 chances that you win since you tie him that chances becomes lower.
3. strategy - no matter how good your player is, if your opponent strategy makes your player adjust his game to where he is not comfortable then expect your guy to not perform well. imagine dwight howard guarding a forward or center who can shoot long bombs he has to go out. or i do believe there are times switches happen in the game engine and that where youll find a discrepancy.

ill try to check that rebounding issue, even if your skill level is higher if he made a gamble that work for him expect youll get a hard time,

an example is i know someone who is going against a 20++k salary power forward, but since his 2 best defensive big man are centers having each only 8 and 9k salary he decided to both play them at the same time not thinking what happens to substitutes.

and as the game goes that 20++k guy never even reach 15 points and his rebs is only 8 from the usual double digit.

meaning?

random meaning like a dice?

if your skills is higher probably youll get it all but that random has to have factors to support it.

its like how can you get 2 if you dont add 2 things or divide 2 by 1 kind of thing

do i make sense, because random for a computer language needs a logic how it would occur :D

(4302008) :-(

I would've liked that win.. I know I TIE'd and all my shooters went MIA and he run'ngunned my 2-3 zone but still. Its hard not to read the team ratings and be a tad bit dissapointed.

good tactics on his part, and as you say, you TIEd, never TIE a game that you like to win. ;)

They are not your friends; they dispise you. I am the only one you can count on. Trust me.

My turn, my turn :-)

How do you like this one? (4490381)

I trounce him everywhere expect rebounding where we split. Why do I have such horrendous shooting stats is my question.

Lots of factors, but probably OP.Team with good defenders that forced you to shoot most of times

Ok,

I know I was not the favourite in the following game (6277838)but there are still questions that I have:

1. How can a team make 40 points in the 4th quarter, while having trouble to get over 20 points in the other three quarters? unrealistic in my opinion, even if they change the tactics completely.

2. What factor/skill do technical fouls depend on? As a player in a team with a 2 point lead in the 4th quarter to commit a technical foul you must either be out of your mind, or really wishing to be traded as soon as possible.

3. What factor/skill does traveling depend on? here too, to make such a mistake in the 4th quarter is really weak, but also realistic. I just don't understand which factor it relies on.

No clue on traveling...

What is your stamina like? His SGs shot 28 times and their starting SG was their leading scorer. So, What's your SGs OD and Stam. look like?

I'm not going to replay the game and check how many shots their SGa took in the fourth, but you could.

My "real life" team scored 46 in the first half and 9 in the second. They played FCP and we didn't have a true point. Our bench was thin and they came back and won. (not a proud moment I relive with strangers often.)

About the technical foul,

Two words... Chris Webber. If that can happen, anything can happen late in a game.
