yeh Rabid, you got the good teams early and I've got the good teams late... so hopefully by that stage I'll have enough wins to not have to worry about winning against the good teams to avoid relegation matches...
Agreed, I think the YPB's are safe from auto relegation and 7th spot pretty much sewn up. Now it is a matter of who you will play on the other side!

after jw beat me in the pl i was real sad but this game cheered me up a lot

he threw his 216k c and his 110k pg at me for the full 48 mins too but we still hung on for the win

so now the top 2 are set

the next 4 can all swap places cause thunder have already played jw and eagles so they could win out the rest and take 3rd

so some guesses

goldfish 11/6 + great pd will go probably 3/2 or 2/3 - hard to call yourself, so ill be modest and go 2/3 making 13/9
jw 10/5 av pd will go 4/1 but big game vs marmots on tv so end on 14/6 av pd
marmots 9/8 - bad pd but easy draw should go 4/1 to 13/9 bad pd
thunder 8/9 av pd probably 3/2 but as i said could 4/1 to go to 11/11

so that would make
snuffles
eagles
jw
goldfish
marmots - safe in 5th
thunder - rel series
bears - rel series
dazzles - gone

as for the rel series - i think the big issue is where the battlers end up, 7th could be better than 6th is you avoid battlers but them, skjim and bloods are all 5/12 right now

though very tough games coming up, I've played 2 of the 3 lower teams alread, so the games are only going to get harder... hopefully though I can come through with a few more wins and secure a top 5 finish!

I have sold the majority of my starters and as a result I am quite an easy target. As tempting as it is, I will not be straying from my plans as we both know I don't really have anything to prove to you so it be solely for my own amusement.

In saying that, I have received my fair share of amusement from you in the past couple of seasons, so its only fair that I share love. Being the good bloke that I am, I'm going to give you from now until the game to tell everyone what you're going to me and 24 hours after to talk up the result... Hell, I'll even ct to look like I'm trying to win.

Now I know how bad you want it, and we all know how much you need it, so accept my charity and make the most it. This is a one time deal and when I eventually spend up, devine intervention won't be enough to help you.

In other news, DT is now two wins from safety - meaning he's basically gotta beat me now to be safe.

next 3 of last 4 games dt have eagles, goldfish and marmots so i think they are basically locked into 6th with the loss to ypb

if you can beat jw who is really strong now at his arena then i dont think dt have a hope of beating you

i lost to snuffles as excected but it wasnt too bad going down by 17 at their arena playing my reserves

still looking like a snuffles v cowboys finals

jw last 4 games are @ goldfish, v eagles, @ ypb and v snuffles - tough draw could go 2/2 or 3/1 - 4/0 seems unlikely
marmots v ypb, @ rd, v dt, v goldfish - 3 or 4 wins
goldfish v jw, @ dt, v rd, @ marmots prob 2 wins

if marmots can win all 4 they go to 14 and bad pd
if goldfish get 2 wins i go to 13 & great pd
if jw win 3 it still just gets them 13 and av pd so still probably 5th unless someone can beat the marmots

under the new system 5th is probably better than 4th

4th gets you an away date with snufles $100,000 income and out - but an extra game of training

5th gets you no salaries for a week worth $301,000 to me and a better draft pick but one less game for training and you do miss out on the chance to roll the dice for a crazy upset of snuffles

last game of the season is goldfish @ marmots - could be huge
