If the u21 player is in a div 2 team and is receiving good one position training, i cant see why that Manager wouldnt mind announcing his skills.

Almost impossible to be competitive with them in the team and come the business end of a season there not going to be your key players any how

As a bit of a test for candidates (and ofcourse anyone else who wishes to partake) I will list the skills of my 3 trainees in the Training - Results/Strategies thread in the Wombats Federation and encourage each of you to comment on what training you suggest that I give them for the coming season.

I would list them in this thread, but its probably not wise for Williams skill set to be freely accessible by other countries U21 coaches.

I dont think any of you would morally be breaking any election laws if you could just demonstrate your knowledge in that thread without any election talk, before bringing the debate back to this thread.

i personally disagree - knowing certain things such as your opponents PF OD.

like, to me, thats an important stat - it doesnt really show up in the box score or rating, and knowing that ur opponent's PF has only, inept OD, may help decide how you play.

just using that as an example. its the stats of players, which are less likely to change, or not change that much, AND which arent obvious from general box score/previous playing. they are the secret ones. :)

I agree. It is those 2ndary skills which can be vital for how you play someone. A team might use a SG at SF a lot. You might assume he has no ID but he may have 10 ID. Know this will effect how you might play them.

Okay I have your advise in the Training thread in the Wombat Federation and I eagerly await Mattys thoughts.

Another question for you both.

If either of you were to win, you would be beating a very enthusiastic and capable Manager.

How would you encourage the beaten candidate to be involved and what role would you ideally like them to play in the overall Management of the Under 21s team?

My Green and myself have exchanged PMs and already have a plan in place to work together. I sent him a PM a few days ago to start discussion and we are both keen to be involved in a major way if the other person wins. One of us thinks the other will win and one thinks it is going to far too close to call. We both want the same thing but see different paths to get there. If one of does win there will be some aspects of each persons plan with one of them just getting a bit more focus.

If I win I am going to banish the other candidates to exile in Siberia.

So I've done a lot of scouting these last few days.

It all started when I joined that facebook group, where all the future exchange students of the university I'm supposed to join in a few months gather. I started to scroll down the members' list and it turned out there were approximately 9 ladies for 1 man. This goes without saying, the draft is pretty deep.

Then I started scouting heavily. While I've observed quantity doesn't necessarly mean quality, I've been extremely satisfied with a couple of 5 stars 4 potential prospects.

Okay seriously, if I can put half the effort I gave for U21 NT, I'll be the all time best manager lol
