Most pressure on the Jaguars? That's a laugher. The new owner just hired his first GM after firing the guy he inherited from the original owner. Then his GM fired the coach and brought in his guy. The team sucks and still was the only team in Florida that was never close to blacked out. There's a metric buttload of work that needs to be done, not the least of which is figuring out whether someone has the magical formula to turn Gabbert into a quality starter or finding a guy who is, and that probably won't happen this year, but I wouldn't at all say the team is under pressure. I'd say the Eagles because it's Philly and they went way out for Spurrier 2.0.

On the QB front, I'd go with the ones in Texas, Romo and Schaub, with Romo winning the tiebreaker because Cowboys fans infest every state in the nation, while Texans fans are pretty much a Houston phenomenon. Freeman is an interesting choice, though - you'd think they'd be pretty content with his work so far but perhaps the new regime doesn't remember just what a clusterboink they had there for a while.

I guess it was never close to a black out, because they threw tarps over the seats......

I guess if you want to get technical, it sells out...

And if you want to get technical, even with the seats that were tarped off (though some tarps are now removable when demands is there thanks to the new league rules), they sold more tickets than:
the Bills
the Lions
the Bears
the Bengals
the Steelers
the Cardinals
the Vikings
the Chargers
the Dolphins
the Rams
the Bucs
the Raiduhs

But of course, unless you've bothered to actually look into the details, you can just keep on herping and derping with the loltarp crowd.

A lot of the Cowboy fans down here have switched over to the Texans. Bandwagoners. Anyway, Schaub better find a way to start producing again, because he is NOT the QB that will lead the Texans to the Super Bowl. I don't care what anyone says. He is not a championship-caliber, he is not elite QB material, and he will never win a Super Bowl. Not here. His stats from the Colts game down here to the playoff game versus the Bengals shows that. He went through a stretch where he only threw 1 TD in 23 quarters. I'd sooner go with T.J. Yates as my QB.

As a Texans' fan, living in Dallas, I can tell you we are not Texas's team just yet. The Texans are pretty irrelevant outside of Houston, and thats to be expected from the youngest franchise in the league. The Cowboys still own everything to the north, east, and west.

As far as Schaub, I think youre being a bit hard on him. He has produced in a major way for this team since he got here. I do believe its time to replace him, but Im not gonna hold it against him that hes getting old. A lot of the stagnant offense has to go on the play calling as well. We became predictable and repetitive down the stretch. Schaub didn't help, but its not all on him.

I'd say there is a lot of pressure on the Pats. Lots of wins, not a lot of championships lately to show for it. Fans are getting grumpy.

If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.

Pats have had their time in the sun and I think the sun is setting on them as most of their Elite Talent are on the older side. I would say the teams with the most pressure to push harder will be the Packers, Falcons, and Broncos. The Packers need to sign a running back like Jackson and they will be back, the Falcons need to get away from Turner and get a running back that can catch out of the backfield while being able to block at the same time (i.e Jackson). The Broncos will only get better next year which is kind of scary but we all know how good Manning gets once he has more time to work with those young recievers and that Defense will be back in shape next year. Packers, Falcons, Broncos are all on the younger side as far as Elite Talent minus Manning but I would still put him up with Matt Ryan and Rodgers as far as managing the NFL game..

Teams with Elite Talent who need to improve in a few catagories are Minny, Carolina, Tampa, Washington, and Cincy. I think these teams will end up being the next crop of winners if the front offices can add the right pieces to the puzzle and make it work..

Philly will be interesting with a coach that runs the Vick playstyle Offense. I cannot stand Vick but with the right system I think he still could be one of the most explosive players in the game.. I also think that he cannot worry about getting injured anymore and needs to be a run threat again while he still has those legs.. Use them while you have them!

what about getting another few good RBs that still have some tank left (like Reggie Bush, or Ben Tate) ?

wait actually Tate is young.....but I still say the Texans shouldn't be hogging all the good RBs, maybe they could trade with a team next year for a few draft picks in 2014 NFL draft (Carolina, San Diego, NYJ, etc. need a RB) that way the Texans can move up in the draft order, and also be able to possibly draft a reasonable QB/WR that has talent.

As for QB, why can't we just go with T.J.? If not for the 2 punts that Jacoby messed up in last year's Divisional game, we might have won. I don't know if we need another rookie. Maybe a young guy that has been in the NFL for 3-4 seasons.
