i was getting all ready to counter with some analysis that it was unlikely that you or TnT would be winning the Cup this year, because you would have to focus at some imminent point on the league, HCA, and preparing for the playoffs . . .
and then i checked the standings. damn.
both of you guys are really kinda sitting pretty -- you with a two-game lead and a huge PD, TnT with a three-game lead, with seven to go. so both have, barring some Pacer locker room meltdown or one of you starts spouting racist nonsense and have to sell your team, the great likelihood of having HCA until the championship round.
i am guessing that the Cup and League champion will come from either BM, Beware of Dogs, or Delta. but, as one who is, along with the Traptors, Chargers, IYF, and Chargers, plotting my chances in the the Cup and possibly playoffs (including even getting there), right now, i think the best chance of pulling an upset win is in the Cup.
Rocket Science' experiment of a six-man roster of first-rate players two games a week is so unusual i don't know how to evaluate his chances. if TnT stumbled badly and ended up with only 17 wins, rocket_science would still have to basically run the table to get HCA. with
money on the line, it will be interesting to see all this play out.
