Im seriously thinking about blowing up my team too. I have too many aged guys, too many Italian Mafioso, and am not bringing in revenue. Im thinking of just keeping my guys under 23 yrs old.

Help with the PCI/Goats recap...

PCI fights back in the 4th. Down by only 3 with 30 ticks left, PCI backup freakin center threw up a 3 point brick to blow the game. Would have been a nice win/effort on the road!

My Lineup is for sale Minus Roach and Woods.

You all know Mannu's ability to perform.. he still has mileage if you think you can make a stretch run to Div 2

I can't complain, I already caught Magic at the right time last game. Facing a depleted roster two games in a row was a lot to hope for. At this point winning my Cup game is probably more important anyways. The fans hate my usual early exit.

Time for a roster blow up as well. Getting ready to pack things in and get prepared for another run in D4. Everyone except Occonell and Parish are probably going to be moved.

Matchday #3 7-10-10

Big 8

Tachenko @ San Diego Crusaders ended up being a good matchup because Tachenko took it easy. Both teams took their time on offense and shot well, but domination on the boards by Mayagoitia lifted Tachenko to a 109-103 victory. Shooting guards Vicens and Butler battled throughout the game, but Butler proved to be too much and got to the line a lot.

Champaign @ Cleveland Crazys proved two things. One, teams in this league don't get knocked around by demotees, and two, the Crazys are better than an 0-2 start. Cleveland 110-101. German said in a press conference after the game, "I'm tired of hearing about how good the Great 8 guards are, have you seen me play?"

Marietta Magic @ TDX Dutchemn was timed excellently for one of these squads. Magic could barely fill a starting line-up while Dutchmen threw new players in constantly to keep the energy high. Magic played well defensively, keeping Hutson and his boys to low shooting percentages, but they didn't have it in them to get down to the other side of the court. Dutchmen 90-49.

E.C. High-Flyers @ Red Terrors was all about underestimating the opponent. The Flyers took it easy and weren't aware of the shooting prowess of the Terrors back-court. The game was a scoring bonanza with Terrors guards Kramarski, and Eason scoring 34 and 33 respectively. Flyers guard Adamopoulos said after the game, "Jeez I thought I was explosive, those guards shot the lights out. We'll be better prepared next time we see them, oh and be warned Red Terrors is an appropriate name despite what Sean Ryan said last week."

Great 8

The Illusion @ 1Derz Bangerz was a funny result in comparison to last seasons. Illusion started 0-3 against Gavno, Bangerz, and Goats, but this season they have started 3-0 against the same 3 teams. On this night the two semi-rivals looked to be opposites. Illusion were all outside on offense, and inside on defense, while Bangerz were vice versa. Barr and Beavers were both leading their teams, refusing to sit on the bench, and Barr was the one holding his fists high when the final whistle blew, Illusion 107-97.

Prov City Investors @ Chicago Goats was highly anticipated by fans, since these two were battling for a playoff spot untill the last game in the previous season, but Goats held them off just enough throughout most of the game. Goats 85-79. The incredible team effort of the Goats 7 players scoring double-digits was too many for Carmona to match.

Armageddons @ No Potential was a difficult result to comprehend. No Potential 80-66. Armageddons played at the same effort, and seemed to be more skilled, but I guess it just wasn't their game. Mccartney played as if he had something to prove in his matchup against Oconnell and he expressed his point in a post-game interview, "You know Oconnell has been getting a lot of hype as a talented young player, and I just wanted people to notice that he's not the only one. Put your eyes on me because I don't dissapoint, and I'm going to be a star real soon."

Roxas City Red Claws @ Indiana Gavno was a straight forward result and let Gavno show off their Smiley like small forward (for those that remember him). Gavno boys are going to have some game shape problems down the road playing all 48 minutes, but for now they get the job done. Gavno 102-81. Casey Slater commented "I don't know this Smiley guy that everyone keeps saying I remind them of, but you should be more scared of playing me than you ever were against him."

Nightly Notable:

This was a very hard pick because so many players stepped up, but when you play like this on your first day in this league you have to get some recognition. So it goes to Casey Slater of the Indiana Gavno. He had 33pts, 7rbs, 5ast, and 3stl.

So I found some time today (monday), sorry it was late everyone, but hey at least I got it done before matchday 4.
